Provincial regulations have been amended to expand the scope of practice for optometrists to include the treatment and management of patients diagnosed with glaucoma.
We are also able to treat and manage ocular disease and disorders with oral medication. Dr. Justin Boulay is licensed to diagnose, treat and manage glaucoma as well as ocular disease. Our office has the ability to perform visual fields, ocular coherence tomography and ultrasound imaging of the eye to help diagnose and monitor many conditions of the eye including glaucoma.

It is recommended to adults to have regular exams every two years and children under 18 should be seen yearly.
