For over nineteen years the business has continued to grow - both with the tire brands available and the automotive services offered. In 2010 the company became a member of the National Tirecraft Team. While the company continues to be owned and operated by Allan Shay, joining the Tirecraft Team provided the company with exclusive access to tire brands which had previously been unavailable or in limited supply in Atlantic Canada.
In 2010 Shay Tire partnered with Tirecraft, providing a wider selection of products to its customers. Tirecraft is a national organization with over 130 locations across Canada. It offers many national programs to consumers including a 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee on tires. More than just tires, their licenced mechanics at both locations provide automotive repair, maintenance, and service.

The service and support from the team at Shay Tire was excellent. As visitors from HRM, we had no appointment but we were quickly fitted in to the schedule. The damage sustained by hitting a pothole was quickly found and new tire fitted. All the way through the process the team kept me aware of what they were recommending and offered me choices, which was great.

I ended up taking my Acura here to get the winter tires put on. It was my first time using Shay Tire. The dealership last year told me my rim was no good and that it should most likely be replaced for my winters. Shay tire had my tires on in an hour and said that they only had to replace a gasket by the valve, and that it was no big deal. Cant stress enough the need to get multiple opinions when it comes to your car. I will continue to go back to Shay for my tire and automotive needs.

I recommend Shay Tirecraft to anyone looking for an honest repair shop or tire dealer in Berwick. There the expert technicians don’t just fix your car and leave you hanging – they take the time to listen to your concerns, needs, and wants, and thoroughly explain any service or repair your vehicle requires. The only people who will service your car are the technicians and they will never do any work without your approval. This level of professionalism is rarely seen in the industry!

Needed winter tires in short notice. More than hospitable. Called at 08:30 and was booked for 13:00 that day! Car was completed as we waited. Complementary coffee or tea. Television in waiting room is a bonus. Clean showroom excellent choices. They really look after you while your there. Heavily recommend this garage!!
