Block D is a multi building commercial development located on Kingston historic waterfront. It consists of: the Royal George (95 unit condominium); the Locomotive works & Carruthers Warf buildings (both 142-unit apartment complexes); and 11 floor Residence Inn Marriott Hotel.
Thompson Electric was contracted to carry out the complete installation of the electrical system for the project, including transformer & substation for the project. Thompson Electric was chosen to work with industry partner, Tiltran Services to assist in the splicing and termination of high voltage conductors connecting the turbines to the substation for the Wolfe Island Wind Project.

Friendly enough on the phone, but zero follow through. Instead of scheduling an appointment for an estimate, they asked me to take pics and describe project in a text, which I did in elaborate detail. They acknowledged receiving this and then...no call back. If you're too busy or job is too small, you need to communicate this. Would not recommend.

I had Tommy come up to do an estimate to get electrical work done for a hot tub. He was very responsive and came up within a couple days of my request. He even came up a second time to snake some conduits and give me a more realistic estimate. While he was here he noticed a problem with the main power line coming into my house and told me he would put in the paperwork to PG&E and get me an estimate for that work also.
Tommy was not here the day of the work but his guys were fantastic. I had Tyler, and Matt here the entire day working. They consulted with me when needed and worked very hard the
