Services
Creighton Law LLP is one of the oldest law firms in Canada, and the oldest in the Durham Region. The firm was founded by John Frederick Grierson, the son of Oshawa's first police magistrate, who was joined by T. Kelso Creighton in 1919. A succession of highly successful, community-minded Lawyers has formed the backbone of our firm since the beginning.
After an accomplished academic career, Charles was called to the Bar in 1980, and he became a Partner in Creighton Law LLP in 1982. In his practice of law, he serves his clients primarily in Family Law, Real Estate, and Wills and Estates. In Family Law, Charles advises and represents clients regarding divorce, custody, access, division of property and support, as well as marriage contracts and separation agreements.
Sheila is senior Counsel with Creighton Law LLP practising in corporate, business, wills and estates and real estate law. She provides advice and represents clients with respect to buying and selling a business, corporate reorganizations and restructuring, residential and commercial real estate transactions.
For over 130 years, Creighton Law LLP has been actively participating in the community. All of the lawyers at Creighton Law LLP are committed to continuing the strong legacy of giving back to the people in the community through service on numerous voluntary boards and service organizations and actively participating in many community events.
Family Law involves every matter in which the legal system intersects with family relationships. This often involves the legal aspects of separation and divorce. This includes child protection (CAS), Adoptions, paternity issues and DNA testing. Clients dealing with family breakdown are understandably going through a difficult stage of their lives.

This law firm is thee most unprofessional law firm I’ve ever dealt with.
I had no other choice but to give up my parental rights because they refused to use 3rd party evidence and study my case.
I had Michelle Williams on my family law case and it turned into one big disaster. On top of all the false allegations made by the respondent Michelle was easily persuaded by fake tears, story, and after I had written letters from doctors saying that I didn’t have mental health issues Michelle asked me to get another mental health assessment when she should stood her ground using the mental health

If you have any kind of dirt and able to extort the other party this is the law firm to use they have no problem using extortion to win a case my belief is that in a fair proceeding they would likely lose so if you have no morals and will do whatever you have to do no matter how despicable look no further. Crooked and unethical which I am about to reveal with the filing of criminal charges for the lawyer and client!!!!!!

Not only is my matter of retention under OLA, the attorney who is representing me, met me without appointment after he had attended all day in court.
