The Vernon Dental Centre in Vernon, B.C., is a family-oriented dental practice for all ages. Using advanced techniques and cutting-edge technology, our dedicated team offers cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry in a friendly and caring environment. Dr. Anthony Berdan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

Prior to that, he attended Canadian University College, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree. After completing his dental training in Southern California, he chose the Okanagan Valley for the outdoor lifestyle it has to offer. He is originally from Regina Saskatchewan. Dr. Tyler Sheasby graduated from the University of British Columbia School Of Dentistry.

New Patients Report

As a new patient, we are concerned about your oral health, since dental health impacts your whole life. At your first appointment we will record everything about your current dental health. This allows us to have records to compare to later if problems arise, but, most importantly, it allows us to identify areas of concern long before they become problems for you.

Crowns Report

A crown is a restoration that covers the entire tooth, restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. There is a variety of crowns available to protect your teeth; from all gold to porcelain.

Dentures & Partial Dentures Report

A denture is a removable dental appliance replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile. A partial denture is used when some natural teeth remain. A denture is used when all the teeth either on the top or bottom are missing.

Periodontal Treatment Report

Gum disease is the primary cause of tooth loss for adults over age 30. To aid in the prevention of tooth loss regular periodontal exams and treatment are necessary. The periodontal exam will include measuring bone loss and evaluating the level of treatment needed. Conservative perio treatment usually begins with scaling and root planning along with instructions on how you can improve your home care to arrest active periodontal disease.

Porcelain Veneers Report

A veneer is a thin covering that bonds to the natural tooth surface and is much more conservative to crowns. Veneers are the ultimate in aesthetics and can give you the smile you have always wanted. If your teeth are chipped, broken, or discoloured veneers are a great way to change the shape and color of your teeth.

Dentists are great here. Business practices not so good. Even if insurance can be billed direct I was just informed that they still require payment in full first. I canvassed eight other dentist offices throughout the Okanagan that all agree this is an odd way to conduct business. I hope others follow and go elsewhere as this is a very poor way to run a business. It also sends a message that clearly shows they do not want middle working class patients. Considering I have to clear the needles from the front door before I enter I don't think they have earned the reputation they think they have.

Was a great experience for my nervous 6 year old with his cavity. Dr. Berdan was so effective in calming his nerves while gently and quickly doing his work. The cartoons on the ceiling mounted tv were helpful too. Trips to the dentist have sure changed since I was a kid. Thank you so much.

Dr. Anthony Berdan is our favorite dentist! We live in Kelowna and make the drive just to see him! Him and the entire staff are very friendly, professional, welcoming and fun to be around. If you are looking for very knowledgeable dentistry and a personable experience then this place is for you!
They also have an amazing kids play room!

First of all I don't deal with pain well, always have been scared of needles.
There is a dentist there called Sheasby.
I recently went there to have two fillings fixed that had worn out.
The doctor did a three stage freezing process, first topical then with needles.
I didn't feel a thing, it literally blew me away.
It is refreshing to be helped by a professional that takes great pride in his work.

I HIGHLY recommend visiting Dr. Berdan and crew at Vernon Dental Centre! He made my 8 year old feel so comfortable during her appointment that she raved about her experience afterwards! A visit to the dentist, fun? Absolutely!! Also should be mentioned that they have a tooth themed climbing wall for children :). A highlight for kids!

What a great dental office. Staff so friendly and they sure know what the heck they are doing. Quick efficient and quite painless. Dr Sheasby worked on my far back molar which has been a long time problem. Next day no pain which was sore for days after other dentists worked on it. My cleaning today was so good, Vanessa was great. So glad I have a wonderful dental office here I didn’t think I would be able to find one as satisfactory as my previous one in Edmonton. Great job guys.
