JQ is one of those stores which represents the heartbeat of a neighbourhood. All of the staff are insanely friendly, supportive, and kind. JQ often has sales and keeps prices affordable so that all of us can enjoy their clothing and accessories. Corina, the owner, has also supported local schools fundraisers personally and through the business.

There stuff is overpriced but they have a nice collection. My friend bought a pair of ear plugs but when she opened them at home it was missing and after they promised to return the money they only gave out store credit. Staff is friendly. Great store, unique clothing and amazing staff. The best part about this store is they treat everyone the same.

It's not like it used to be. I used to shop here for my teen daughters. Now it's more of a risk'eh kind of genre. Caught off guard since I had my grandson with me but if I was alone and was shopping for a fun and outgoing person then this outgoing shop of sparkle and d&sub attire would be the place to go to!!

This place basically resells fast fashion & accessories - Merchandise is not the greatest quality at all, prices are OK. Not the most impressive. You can find better deals at urban behaviour & ardene or claires tbh.
Owner & staff are well meaning but severely overbearing - more so the owner. I enjoy shopping independently as a customer & this is not a store where I felt free to do so. Owner constantly talks to customers in the store & I don’t think she takes into account some ppl would rather shop/browse unbothered.

This is an absolutely amazing place to shop run by a super amazing, super caring and accepting individual. I've been shopping here for years, both before I came out as Trans, and after, and have always been welcome. I've never felt uncomfortable shopping here or trying stuff on here, and anyone who says differently has an agenda or has never actually been here.

JQ Clothing is more than just a retail store. It is a safe space for the LGBTQ2SIA+ community to express their authentic selves. My partner and I have shopped there many times over the years and Corina (and her Rockstar staff) have made both of us feel supported, welcomed and comfortable.
The quality of the clothing is great, the styles are unique AND comes in inclusive sizing. The prices are lower than expected for club & rave wear. I love the accessories! Pride wear/gear is in stock all the time (gotta love that!) We will be customers for life. I encourage all fashionistas to support this local

I went in to look for a particular item, and within the first minute, I was asked 3 times if I needed assistance. Once or twice in 5 minutes is fine, but 3 times in less than a minute is a bit much. And once I had an item in my hand, I was asked 3 more times if I wanted a fitting room. And every time, I said "I'm not ready yet, I'd still like to look around" and they still didn't take no for an answer. I never thought I'd say theres such a thing as too much customer service, but it was actually uncomfortable and made me want to leave

As a P.O.C. expect to be followed around the store. I visited this store with the intention of purchasing several articles of clothing but the constant surveillance led me to simply walk out! The store owner thinks she’s progressive but is woefully out of touch. The selection and pricing at Model Express and Ultra Love are much better and you won’t be followed. You have been warned!

The best place for the hottest kisch clothes on The Drive. They have all sorts of leggings, sweet little dresses and cool & funky accessories!!! I love all the kitty 😺 cat things they have!! They usually have all kinds of sizes and shapes for any human!!! You have to go by and take a look for yourself!!! It won't disappoint. J9

There is a great selection of unique clothing. The service is friendly and helpful.
The sizes are quite small as most of the items seem to come from China. If there were more sizes I would give this one 5 stars. If a medium sized person can't even squish into a size large then they need more sizes for average sized woman.
On a positive note hey were accommodating when I came in with my toddler in a stroller. That is good.

I've passed by this place so many times, but only recently did I finally go in and check it out. I ended up leaving with 3 dresses and a bunch of accessories!
They have tonnes of cute (very reasonably priced!)
stuff, a surprising amount of selection for a fairly small store, and very friendly, helpful, and overall excellent staff.
This place was fantastic, and I'll be back again!

While there seems to be little or no jeans here, they do have a wide range of colourful, feminine clothing to choose from. The staff have been consistently cheerful and helpful. I also find it refreshing to shop in a place where my partner, a feminine man, can buy clothes from people who encourage him instead of judge him.

I love going in there and knowing that I (a curvy girl) can find something, and my teeny tiny friend who can fit into child sizes can find clothes here that make her feel like a woman.

A salesperson at Change recommended this store when I asked her if they have any tights more interesting than regular fishnet. Jean Queen did have some interesting legwear, but they were more costumey than what I was looking for.
I got a cute knit dress for about $20. Yay!
I went just before Halloween, and about half the store was costumes. I wonder what the ratio is for the rest of the year. The Jeans percentage is next to none.

What a cute store!
I see it all the time but assumed they just sold jeans... for obvious reasons. This time I walked past the store on the proper side of the street and was lured in by all the polka dots.
Holy cute dresses! Everything from 50's style to skanky as hell. And amazing prices! I will be back for sure. I was really impressed with the range of sizes! I actually tried on one really cute black dress that turned out to be too big, which NEVER happens to me! So that was pretty great. Even though I left empty handed.
I can't wait to go back when I have some more time on my hands

I looked at the website before coming here, and for some reason expected the store to be bigger than it was. Jean Queen has the feel of a thrift store- you're not always going to find what you want (or in your size), but it's fun to hunt around. The accessories here are always super cute, and it's always a place to go for leggings and fun socks. The clothing changes too frequently to come in here expecting to find a dress or whatever.
I love to pop in here when I'm shopping on Commercial. It's not too far from the Skytrain, just a block or two north on the left side
