I am a Registered Psychologist in Manitoba, with a Ph. D. in Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto. I also have a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from OISE/University of Toronto.
I will use my expertise to provide you with solutions based on your individual needs and concerns. Therapy that helps you overcome difficulties by identifying dysfunctional thinking, behaviour and emotional responses. Through this method, you will develop skills that identify and challenge distorted thinking and beliefs in order to change feelings and behavior.
At the end of your first session, I will discuss a treatment plan with you. Treatment is typically short-term and solution-focused, with three to six sessions required for each main concern. Depending on the complexity of the problem, more sessions may be needed. Keep in mind that it is important to simply ask any questions you have about the timeline.
My office is located in the Wolseley area of Winnipeg, MB, on the 2nd floor of 1096 Wolseley Ave. The most efficient way to contact me is via email - I answer all of my emails personally and usually respond the same day.
