I was just 18 years of age. Hermann was an independent painting contractor in the city of Penticton, British Columbia. Although I had found some small painting jobs-working alone-in early 1972, I had no formal training. For five years, Hermann and his son, Gerry, gave me an apprenticeship in the painting trade.
I am rarely asked for references because most of my clients are referred by friends, or are repeat customers. But during the 40 years that I have operated Reliable Painters, I've had many rewarding interactions with clients. Occasionally I receive an unsolicited card, letter or note expressing appreciation.
It's of utmost importance to me that your paint will look great to you, and will also provide you with years of service. I do not shop around for cheap paint. I've already included the price of top line paint in your quote, so that is all I will bring into your home. In my opinion, Benjamin Moore stands alone-and above-other brands of paint, particularly the Aura(R) line of products.
For this project we'll imagine that you are repainting a bedroom (10 feet x 10 feet), although you are not painting the textured ceiling, doors, baseboards or trim. You're only painting the walls, which have been previously painted. This entire project will require you to spend between $155 and $215 on tools and materials.
If you look through the Edmonton phone directory or classified sections of your newspaper-to say nothing of Kijiji or Craigslist-you'll find hundreds of house painters. How do you choose from such a huge pool? There are merits to each of these methods-some more than others-but a combination is probably your best approach.

Nathan did an amazing job at my mom's house! It needed a lot of TLC, and that's what it got. As one part of a full reno, he helped us take care of the walls, trim, and even a few other little details. We were in constant communication leading up to the start day and during the job. The work was done very professionally, on time, on budget! He's definitely a guy a trust to do a great job!!!

If you want it done right call “Reliable Painters”. We gave Nathan a painting and staining challenge and he came through for us. Nathan drove 40 minutes out of Edmonton to repaint several rooms in our house. He was on time, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up after himself. He also helped us solve some issues with holes in our walls and ceilings with simple and effective solutions. I would highly recommend calling Nathan and refer him to all of my friends.
