Knightsbridge provides a full range of strategic marketing and business planning consulting services, which generate professional, practical and effective solutions to the many challenges faced by our clients. What is strategic planning? Well simply put, there is sometimes little distinction between implementation (doing things right) and strategy (doing the right thing).
At Knightsbridge, we believe the first order of business is getting the proper strategy in place, (doing the right thing), and the second is effectively implementing that strategy, (doing things right).

Knightsbridge uses the following process guideline for developing the business plan, working as a member of the client's planning team throughout the project. Knightsbridge is responsible for writing the business plan and for preparation of all budgets and pro forma statements.
The situational analysis involves working with the client's planning team to get a clear view of the company's current position with respect to such issues as marketing, production capacity and efficiencies, inventory turns, key ratios, human resources, finance and administration, etc. This will be based on a review of company data, management and employee input, industry information, and existing primary and secondary data.

This portion of the planning process is an extension of the Situational Analysis, and involves the identification of the key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the client.
The process includes a review of all marketing areas including overall industry profile and trends, competitors, markets, product categories, pricing, advertising, distribution channels, corporate image, market segments, brand positioning, public and media relations, promotion and direct sales.

The specific project parameters will vary from client to client, as each will have unique requirements and desired areas of focus. This is usually done as a result of management concerns around one or more issues. Knightsbridge works with the client to identify existing or potential challenges (problems or opportunities) and develop a remedial plan of action to address the challenges presented.
One of the core counselling services provided by Knightsbridge is assisting the client in developing an early warning system to flag significant variances from plan. The process involves setting up a key indicator reporting system tailored to each of the company's key executive's needs. This system compares actual results to plan for key performance indicators under the particular executive's purview.
