Our outstanding faculty & comprehensive curriculum provide exceptional opportunities for personal growth and empowerment to become a leader in the alternative medicine field. CITCM takes tremendous pride in offering small class sizes and the highest standards of curriculum which exceed provincial and national requirements.
You can become an Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, DTCM and earn a bachelor's degree from CDUTCM in four years of education with fully funded options. CITCM has high pass rate on the Pan-Canadian Exams, creating the most brilliant acupuncturists and doctors of TCM in both Alberta and national wide.
The fusion of the three programs uses commonly shared foundation classes to accelerate the process of study for acupuncture, doctor of TCM and massage, saving one year of study. This program provides graduates with more scope of practice to start a successful career as an acupuncturist, Doctor of TCM, and Massage Therapist.
One-month interval between each module allows participants to apply knowledge learned and return to class with questions to discuss. Objectives and Outcomes: determine and create a unique clinic strategy that attracts your target market and delivers value. Objectives and Outcomes: identify your vision and mission as a health practitioner and prepare a business plan that follows your values that enrich you and your clients.
In 2019 CITCM and its affiliations are pleased to offer over 16 awards worth $15,000, most of which are exclusive to CITCM students enrolled in both Acupuncture and Massage program. Students currently enrolled full-time may apply for multiple awards, but are eligible to receive a maximum of one award each.

I had a recent appointment with Cianna Fayant at CITCM , I went in with a few issues, my neck, back and feet - and hot flashes (I’m 55), her attention to detail and care was very impressive, I felt she listened to me, she made her diagnosis and her attending Dr Ivy clarified - Cianna explained very clearly her procedures, my back and neck took a couple of treatments for the pain to subside, the tops of my feet were so painful to even walk on, Cianna was able to resolve this in one appointment, I’m so grateful as they were affecting my daily living, and three months later they still feel fantastic

Good massage, good pressure and heat but could not hear anything the massage therapist was saying as I was face down and she was standing and she was wearing a mask and was speaking softly because of the curtain and the desire to keep the conversation confidential, but unfortunately, all her questions and comments and advice were not heard. I would simply say yes, as sometimes she could not hear me even saying yes and asked me to repeat it. I need to hear this advice and the questions.

The location is convenient and easy to get to, near lots of transit routes, and has a lot of street parking nearby. There are options to see students for those on a smaller budget, or the highly trained Doctor's for a larger fee. I love going to both the student massage and acupuncture clinics when I have aches and pains or ailments. I feel confident in their treatments because although they are new to the practice, they are clearly passionate about their craft, and everything is ran by their supervisors anyways just to be sure. They also do cupping and can provide herbal formulas when you need

Great school! These students are even better then some practitioners who have been in the field for many years, as they have the knowledge to do different combinations of western and eastern massage techniques to suit each of the individual patients needs. If you can 't get into see them now, expect them to be very booked when they are out in the field practicing in their own!
