Great landscapes begin days, weeks, and sometimes even months before the trucks, the crews, and the equipment appears at your site. Lush lawns, beautiful trees, and magnificent flowers, don't just happen - they take time, lots of patience and careful planning. At Water's Edge Landscaping, we spend as much time and care on this step as possible.
We will come to your cottage or home to meet with you and discuss your needs, wants, likes, and dislikes in your landscape. Our first meeting will take about an hour and will involve us discussing your area of space, along with your budget, taking measurements, and pictures. The topography and climate of Muskoka can create unique challenges.
What is Hardscape? Hardscape refers to the use of inanimate objects of a landscape such as; pavers, stones, granite slabs and/or boulders, arbors, water features as well as structures of wood and natural stone and concrete, ie: retaining walls, patios, walkways, stairs, fences, decks, pergolas, etc.
What is Softscape? Softscape refers to the live horticultural element of a landscape. Softscape can include; flowers, plants, trees, shrubs, creating flower beds, adding soil and mulches. Wheel barrows and manual tools like rakes, shovels, picks and gas power tools are commonly used. Annuals: From Argyranthemum to zinnias and everything in between, as well other awesome annuals to create a constant array of colour all summer long.
Your exterior is the first thing that greets each and every visitor to your cottage or home, so it is important for it to make a great impression upon your arrival. Great care and attention will be given to your external grounds to ensure that they make an attractive and professional statement every time.

While Waster's Edge signed a a Spring/Summer/Fall maintenance agreement to look after my proiperty, they never showed up in spite of numerous promises that they would. While they could have simply said we're having challenges this year and can't assist you this summer, they instead chose to continuously lie and postpone the dates they were going to show up and then never show up. Dishonest, unreliable, untrustworthy and very disappointing. I'm suprised anyone would conduct business in such a dishonest manner when the solution was so easy.

From a past employee's perspective, Water's Edge Landscaping truly made sure knowledge and skills were practiced and perfected prior to servicing the clients yards.
