Providence begins delivering dementia village care now in anticipation of bricks-and-mortar. A major gift from a generous donor has made it possible for Providence to begin making changes in the north wing of one of its seniors' residences, Holy Family Residence, to reflect the attributes of, and ultimately transfer to, the new bricks-and-mortar dementia villages Providence envisions for both Vancouver and Comox.

The majority of PHCRI researchers have appointments at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU), two of the largest academic institutions in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Our researchers and programs actively explore areas of research to improve the health of the patients and residents cared for at our site and across the province of British Columbia.
Providence is a health and wellness resource for all British Columbians. We're committed to treating those we serve - and each other - with compassion and respect. How you want to be treated. That's our way of saying that we're committed to treating those we serve with compassion and respect. We are a health and wellness resource for families, patients and residents from all parts of British Columbia.
We are committed to treating each other the same way, with compassion and respect. While it started with very humble roots, the Providence of today has grown; now there are almost 9,000 people working at our 16 sites. We have 6,000 staff, 1,000 medical staff/physicians, 200 researchers, 1,600 volunteers.
We are a health and wellness resource for families, patients and residents from all parts of British Columbia. We also use technology and outreach efforts to build capacity, provide training and offer support to other health providers across the province. While offering a multitude of services, Providence Health Care is the provincial centre for the care of six groups of people with often-intensive health needs.
Providence Health Care is a non-profit organization, providing services in partnership with the Vancouver Coastal Health and the Provincial Health Services Authority. Our organization operates under an agreement between the Province of British Columbia and the Denominational Health Association.

Arrived at 10:15 am Sunday to visit my wife. The place was locked up tighter than a drum - nobody at front desk, door would not open, the push button box on the left with instructions didn't work/
After a 35 minute plus drive to Parkview, the only thing I could do was to make the 35 minute plus drive back to Steveston.
A very frustrating start of the day for someone recuperating from Depression. It would be most helpful if the hours of operation or visiting hours was posted on the premises and added to your website.
