Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club welcomes back the smiling face of Jim Wickstrom, for the 2021 season. Jim Wickstrom decided to give Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club a try in 2008 as our Pro and Club Manager and hasn't left since. Jim is married to a Thai national and they have two children. For those that do not know, Jim earned his professional status in 1972 while playing in the Province of Manitoba.
Proceed north on 8th Street, around the traffic circle and west on Alaska Ave to 17th. Stay right and drive past the Pioneer Village, the Campground and then Regional District Office. Course is on the left side of the road. Drive up Hwy 97 to Alaska Hwy (Cemetery on the left as you come up the hill).

This golf club would be better rated if it didn’t try to be something it isn’t... a country club! If it accepted the fact that it’s a backwater golf course in an inclement climate where getting a professional golfing green is difficult and set its prices accordingly there would be less disappointment when you find the muddy course littered with bald spots and ruts.
Don’t expect much; the grounds flood frequently and there isn’t a lot to be done for it! It’s got space to practice your golf swing. They should re-evaluate their sales pitch because it is not a country club and nothing
