Mercer's Marine Equipment Limited is a fourth generation, family owned business that had its humble beginnings in 1957. The business opened as a General Store and was founded by Ralph and Ruby Mercer of Clarenville, Newfoundland on Canada's east coast. Ruby held the primary responsibility of the store as the Mercer's also had a poultry farm that demanded much of Ralph's time.
