Proform's story began in 1975 with a family formed company named HEB Developers Ltd. By 1979, three Gomaco Commander III Concrete Slipform Pavers were in hand and the company continued to expand into the mid-eighties. In the late 1980's, HEB Developers Ltd became Proform Concrete Services to enable expansion into a larger variety of products and services.
A Precast Concrete Division was formed and in 1990, Proform purchased a 28-acre site southwest of Red Deer in Gasoline Alley complete with 17,000 sq ft manufacturing plant. With continued growth in the 90's, there were two expansions of the Precast Plant and the addition of several more Concrete Extruders.

Services
Proform is a professional concrete contractor and precast manufacturer that has been serving Western Canada and the Northwest Territories for over 40 years. We offer a wide array of products and services for the construction industry through our two divisions: Proform Concrete Services and Proform Construction Products.
Proform Concrete Services is a division of Proform that offers concrete solutions for transportation projects where performance, value, durability and concern for the environment are essential. From general concrete construction and finishing, concrete paving, cutting, coring, commercial curb and gutter, sidewalks and jersey and "F" shape barriers, Proform is the leader in the industry serving Western Canada and the Northwest Territories.
We work with many engineering firms and municipal planners throughout Alberta and the Northwest Territories to place new residential curbs, gutters and sidewalks. We also make repairs to old sidewalks that have taken a beating throughout the years and require a little TLC. We helped to repair the sidewalk, curb and gutter, including the paving stone, after the tragic Slave Lake Fire of 2011.
Leading the industry in Western Canada for road, parking lot, industrial site, transit zone, intersection and airport concrete paving. Concrete paving is durable, sustainable, low maintenance and has an extended life cycle while eliminating potholes and rutting. More and more municipalities are adding roundabouts at critical intersections because they are proven to be safer and a much more efficient way of moving traffic.
Proper retaining wall construction aids in holding back sloping soil, erosion and controlling water drainage. Not only are retaining walls functional, they can be used to create a more useful space and add pleasing architectural features. Poured in place concrete retaining walls are durable and can be designed to include color, texture, embedded objects or benches and much more.
