Austin Security began in 1997 as a one man operation when after ten years in the industry, company President Pat McNamara took off on his own. Operating out of his basement, Pat grew his business by knocking on doors in the Edmonton area, until he was able to lease an office space and hire employees to his team.
Over the years, Pats wife Annette provided support by assisting with the bookkeeping and together, began raising their three children; twins, Mitch and Liam and Daughter, Alyssa. While spending days and nights at the ice rink and the swimming pool, the McNamara's continued to grow Austin Security throughout the city of Edmonton and area.

Live Video Monitoring was the recommended solution from Austin Security after numerous thefts and catalytic converter thefts in our yard.
Shortly after the installation Austin identified a break-in as it was happening, the police were contacted right away with a detailed description of what was happening, and arrests were made.
I would highly recommend Austin Security to anyone who has been experiencing similar issues.

Have nothing but positive feedback for Austin Security and the security installation they did. We had selected TELUS previously, and it was a complete disaster - Austin installed a very comparably priced system with significant upside with respect to the gear they installed, the service they provided, and the end result.

We brought a small project that turned complicated to the Austin Security team when we moved in to our new office space. The challenge was that we were constantly delayed by other contractors and service techs, which ended up requiring us to push through change requests to the Austin team. They handled it well, and accommodated us at every turn. We selected Austin because we see their logo's all over the place. From government buildings, to small commercial properties and everything in between, Austin is there to protect. Glad we made the decision.
