I went with Lona because she was highly recommended to me. However I found her to be very uncommunicative, and would not respond to any of my emails or the emails of my realtor. She wasted my time, caused me alot of unecessary stress, and she put in very little effort and ultimately failed in trying to get me approved for a mortgage. I had to find someone else on short notice. The other mortgage broker I found was wonderful, very friendly and informative and was able to get me approved 2 days before my subjects were removed....no thanks to Lona. I do not recommend Lona at all.

I am not impressed by the service my husband and I received from Lona at Gatsby mortgages. We went to Lona mid-July because we wanted to purchase a condominium. The first meeting with Lona was great however, she does not communicate the status of your mortgage with you. We are still waiting for her to get back to us on the different interest rates and which banks can offer mortgages for less than 75K. For someone who works with mortgages daily and considers themselves a mortgage broker, I find it hard to believe she did not know which bank/ institutions can offer loans under 75K. Not only has she
