Recognizing the important role that physicians play in the health of our community, the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Academy of Medicine and the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce collaborated to create the Physician Recruitment and Retention Program (branded as Hamilton Physicians).
With generous and ongoing contributions from the City of Hamilton, Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Joseph's Healthcare, Faculty of Health Sciences - McMaster University, and the Department of Family Medicine - McMaster University, the program has been able to assist over 300 family physicians in selecting and transitioning to the best practice possible.
