If you're looking to replace your dock, these guys know what they are doing. From the first step of me contacting them, they responded quickly, made a site tour (and we planned the design), provided a quote for removal and construction that was easy to understand, all within a few days. Their work commenced earlier than planned and the construction was completed while we were away, exactly to the plan that i had approved. Overall, it was a seamless process resulting in a high quality constructed dock. They did not disappoint in any stage of the process.

We were in contact with Burton Marine in 2019 in order to rebuild our dock. After many years of dealing with the M.O.E. we finally received the go ahead this year. Burton showed up on time with a great, friendly and professional crew to get the job going. When the pilings were done the carpentry crew arrived to complete the dock. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of work and the skills of the crew. When the crew was finished the site was left perfectly clean. We would highly recommend Burton Marine Pile Driving to anyone looking to build a dock.

Ive been in the construction business for over 30 years, and can usually can find a thing or 2 that can be improved from every company I’ve dealt with.
Honestly, I can’t say a negative word about Burton Pile Driving and the dock they provided our family.
They took care of all necessary permits and actually had the structure completed ahead of their original schedule. True professionalism. Everyone should take note in this industry....

For us, the process of building a dock was an onerous endeavour(not necessarily because of Burton). I had encountered a few obstacles that basically made me want to give up. Because of the area we are in it was mandated by the Ministry that we must use helical piles, which added to the cost and time frame.
I will start with the downside and the reason for missing a star. It took forever to get these guys to my house, which was frustrating. To be honest there were many factors out of Burtons control and mine that we. were faced with. Unfortunately we missed 2 summers with a dock. My understanding

We started the permitting process with another contractor and after completing a risk based assessment we eventually switched to Burton Marine. This proved to be the best decision as Burton took on our dock project in a red spawning zone and met every schedule challenge they faced. All of the Burton people were straightforward on the schedule and costs risks and provided optionality on fit and finish including various material options. We had to connect the existing stairs to the new dock and Burton solved this challenge providing a custom designed connection between the two solving this issue

It is very difficult these days to find good service and quality workmanship. We had a substantial renovation done to our dock by Burton Marine. We talked to other companies but in the end went with Burton. We are very pleased with the decision. Not only did they show up on time, get the job done (actually went over and above) they were great at handling any small issues we had at the end. It really felt like they were not happy until we were happy. This is a huge investment in our property and we are very happy we chose Burton to walk us through it and get the job done properly and within budget

We built a new dock this spring with Burton Marine Pile Driving. The whole process from planning to completion went without a hitch. Our contact person Mike was always available and provided very helpful suggestions along the way. The construction crews were professional and very nice. We would highly recommend Burton if you need a new dock.
