Highly recommend! My fiancé got his ring resized here and service was very quick about a week. We custom made my ring setting and I couldn’t be happier with the service and ring. Catherine was so helpful and kind. She would update me even outside of working hours. They really do go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with the final product. I’m honestly very picky so Catherine definitely had a lot of patience with me. They were also able to help me fit my dream ring within our budget! Such a great experience.

Buying an engagement ring is no easy task but Catherine at H&F was extremely patient with me as well as very knowledgeable. She explained all the specifications from the ring setting to the quality/cut/colour since i wanted a custom made engagement ring. She kept communication very transparent and provided updates every step of the way from the ring setting being finished to the diamond being appraised. Louis was our first point of contact while our primary resource ended up being Vivian. We had pleasant interactions with both Louis and Vivian who were professional and forthcoming with all our questions and concerns. My husband bought my ring from H&F at Steeles, but I went to this location to get my ring cleaned. The staff is really nice. They taught me how to clean it on my own since I moved quite far and can't get it cleaned in Toronto regularly. They're always really friendly and very frank about what is and isn't good for the diamonds.

I had given my husband some ideas of engagement ring designs I liked and after going to the traditional big box jewelry stores, a friend of ours recommended H&F.
The customer service here is great - they are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, honest and the prices are very reasonable! My husband surprised me with a custom designed engagement ring and I love it!
We went back for our wedding bands and I worked with the gemologist there to create 4 beautiful bridesmaid gifts - necklaces with a pearl and white gold heart pendant - my girls loved them!

I've been to both stores, I've got to say, they have quite a selections, which is good because us girls, we like to have a few choices in hand. Excellent customer service, not only that, they know their diamonds and they give good advices in terms of styles and jewleries for specific events and desires. I've purchased a couple rings set, a customize ring and a diamond pendent there, what else do you want me to say? I wouldn't buy again if that spot doesn't hit QUALITY!

My mom and I went in looking for a jewelry piece for my new born nephew, but we didn't want to spend a fortune so we asked to see what they could give us for $200. To my surprise, they brought out a wide selection of necklaces and gold pendants to chose from. I told them what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend, and they met my expectations. I went to the location at First Markham Place to get a ring resized. They said they could attach a ball to the inside of the ring for $40. We said sure, but when we went to pick it up, there was basically no change to the ring size, it was still super loose. Not only that, but the ring now had discolouration on the outside from where they attached the ball. I can't believe they just gave it back to us like that. When we tried it on and told them it didn't fit, they said there was nothing else they could do. And we received no compensation for the fact that they ruined our $300 band.
