Meet the Veterinarians & Team of Foxboro Veterinary Hospital in Foxboro, ON! We're pleased to provide exceptional vet care for your pets! Dr. Jennifer Hurford has been the clinic owner and practitioner at the Foxboro Veterinary Hospital since December of 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro NS before pursuing her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in beautiful Charlottetown PEI.
We offer a wide range of services including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your pet so they live a longer, healthier and happier life. Help us keep our fur family healthy with regular preventative health care visits to boost immunity and ensure wellness. Microchipping is a common and safe way to permanently identify your pet and you as the owner in the unfortunate case that your pet is lost.

My pets and I have had nothing but exceptional experiences at Foxboro Vet. The entire team are beyond caring and compassionate. Dr. Hurford has gone above and beyond for my pets which is something I can't say for any other vet I've been to.
Anytime I've called with an issue, the receptionists do their best to fit me in ASAP which I truly appreciate. I never feel pressured into any services and Dr. Hurford always gives me different options to treat my pets issues to fit my budget.
During these difficult times with covid, I appreciate the hard work these girls do more than ever. I can't recommend

Actively promotes pseudoscientific "therapies" over hyping their utility for - surprise - almost any and everything! If you attempt to bring this to their attention and help other pet parents make an informed choice in their pet's care - something supposedly a practice mandate by OVA - they will hide your comment and sourced references from evidence based and science based peers (MDs, DVMs) faster than you can refresh the page. That's not right. It's one thing to offer complimentary therapies along with gold standards of care (actual proven medicine), but promoting them dishonestly as equal alternatives

Having known Dr Hurford for a number of years, I have always known that her love for animals is her number one priority. This was recently made even more clear when I was going through a severe illness with my own dog. Her calm and rational assistance and expertise was such a breath of fresh air when I was only experiencing fear and anxiety about my dog’s prognosis. I am happy to report that my girl is on the mend - I’m not sure it would have ended the same way if I hadn’t had the support of Dr Hurford when I needed it! Booked an appointment as a new client both by calling and leaving a voicemail as well as by submitting their request form online. First of all it took about 2 weeks for them to contact me back to confirm the appointment which in hindsight was an accurate indication of the level of service they provide. Then when I was 5 minutes late they cancelled my appointment and charged me a $100 scheduling fee. Their communication was unclear on the policy: they indicated the fee would be charged if I cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment or didn’t show up altogether, there was no mention of any cut

If you dare question what this vet wants to charge you for, you are told you are being abusive and that you aren’t a good fit and to find another vet after simply asking why you suddenly need bloodwork for a service your pet has received for years. This was after years of using this clinic, with no issues from Dr. Nadia, the previous owner. They will tell you that you are neglectfull and a hand full of other lies/insults to try and get what they want.
To boot, they refused my animals

I'm so happy I started taking my kitten to Foxboro Vet. They are so devoted to their clients and really go above and beyond. They're very caring and patient, always answer all my questions and explain things clearly, and really do a wonderful job taking care of my kitten. I love the follow up calls -- it's obvious they really do care about their clients.

Foxboro Vet are the most caring group of staff I have dealt with for my dogs. They have kept me well informed throughout and the customer service I have received has been excellent. They treat the animals as their own and my dogs are excited each time they visit which I can't say the same about some previous vet clinics I have been to in the past. With fair pricing on top of that, I highly recommend this clinic. Great work ladies!

The staff at Foxboro Veterinary Hospital is absolutely amazing! The girls are professional, compassionate, and caring. Each of my pets are completely spoiled with love and attention whenever they go in for exams/procedures, which makes for a stress free experience. The girls are always able to answer my (many) questions, and are able to do so in a timely manner. Keep up the amazing work!
