Dr. Gabby Rotaru believes she has the best job in the world: if you think about it, what other job fills your heart with so much joy that it really brings tears to your eyes, makes you laugh and wonder, discover and create, is never boring and so uplifting? And in what other job can you feel that you truly make lives better (pets and owners alike) and learn every day from each and every pet you meet?
Born and raised in Calgary, Angela always loved animals and had numerous pets growing up. She always knew she wanted to work with animals and graduated in 2006 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduating, Angela worked at the University of Calgary's Animal Resource Center as an Animal Care Technician.
Alex was born and raised in Calgary and had a love of animals right from the start. She knew that she wanted to become a veterinary technician even from a young age. She was fascinated with strays and would try to catch stray dogs and take them home with her. She graduated from the Olds College Registered Veterinary Technician program in 2014.
Katelyn is originally from Port Coquitlam British Columbia. She has always had a connection with animals and the loss of a few of them only made that love stronger. Since the age of 6, she knew she wanted to be in the animal health field. She completed the Veterinary Office and Animal Care Certificate from Douglas College and first worked at a veterinary clinic in BC.

A massive THANKS to Dr. Jeff and his assistant Susan for looking after my Old English Sheepdog (Monty) today who has been struggling for three days with a dodgy tummy. They were both very reassuring and professional. I left the clinic far less stressed than I arrived!

We took our dog for the very first time .... little did we know that our dog was extremely ill. The vet called and got us in to an emergency animal hospital that was also completely full! 12 days in the ICU and a surgery later they saved her life . If it wasn't for the quick actions from Chestermere vet I don't know if I would be looking at my beagle begging for food right now . So yeah these guys are A number one in my books . Thank you guys from me and Lily . Can't wait till covid is over so we can get her checkups in person and meet your fantastic team!!

People there are very nice. I noticed some people complaining about how expensive it is. I have owned cats for over 30 years. The idea of an inexpensive vet is a myth. If the vet is too expensive, you should not be keeping pets. Keeping a pet is a responsibility, not a right. The operation seems very professional. I recommend them highly

Every time we go to the clinic, for a regular checkup or for something more serious, we are always treated with compassion, and respect. I have been to other clinics and this one is by far the best. Finding the right vet for your fur baby is not an easy choice but I will tell you, don’t look any further, Chestermere Vet Clinic is the right place for you.

This is the best veterinarian clinic I've ever been too. all of the staff are so caring and compassionate even during the hardest and worst of times. always friendly and extremely helpful and so, so caring of the animals. combined with their great care and attitude is the costs and fees, they're actually affordable and worth it. great work. thank you all ❤❤❤❤

Dr.Gabbie and her team are simply amazing. We leave about an hour away from this vet, but it's the only vet we will bring our puppy too. The staff really take the time to explain everything and we never feel rushed.
I couldn't believe the negative reviews I saw, but if you actually read them you realize it's more so the client who had issues with the service, and nothing the vet team did that was not right, IMHO.
Our dog has behavior issues, and we always put a muzzle on him when taking him out into the public. Dr.Gabbie has seen our puppy since we first got him, and she always makes an effort

It's clear they truly love the animals they treat.
They've been treating my cats for years and have been great. But when I brought my rescue pup in for the first time they went above and beyond!! Because my dog was nervous on her first visit, Dr. Gabby examined her in the waiting room rather than one of the examination rooms. When we came back for boosters on Chloe's vaccines, Lindsey sat on the floor with her and let her sniff the stethoscope before doing the examination.
