In 2001, the Hollinger Golf Club expanded from its original 9 hole facility to include a championship 18 hole course.

I'd like to commend the course, staff and volunteers who contributed to the Top Notch experience at the NextGen Fall Series East Junior Golf Championship. Course conditions were superior. Organizers, staff, volunteers and community spectators were so friendly and accommodating. The pride in the course and the community was obvious and with good reason. I greatly appreciated the opportunity I had to play the course as well. By far, it was the most challenging and best maintained course I have played this year. A true Northern Ontario jem of a course and a MUST PLAY if you are ever in the area.

Took a little side trip on a recent road trip to play here and we were pleasantly surprised.
This track might not be for the beginner from the wrong tee box unless they have plenty of spare golf balls. The playing conditions were excellent and the course was in good condition from tee to green. The power carts we had were at best... old... not sure I can describe them any better than that without insulting golf carts everywhere.
The pro-shop staff and starter were very friendly and we felt welcome and we did enjoy our round (although better carts would have matched the cost for the round).

Fantastic course! The fairways, greens are in pristine condition.
The views are really spectacular especially on a sunny day.
Staff were friendly and the carts are very well maintained.
We were informed by the starter that this course will soon be used for a junior nationals tournament.
It is a challenging course though, so if you are new to golf don’t use your best balls!

Played for first time yesterday in about 10 years. The courses condition has gone downhill but the service I received in the proshop was the reason I’m rating this 5 stars! Young kid working the pro shop probably doesn’t even have his license yet but he was extremely helpful and respectful! Kids got a bright future

Went for our company golf tournament. The staff was friendly and had everything set up for us. From the carts being labeled with our team, well groomed course and amazing food. I'm not a golfer as this has only been my second time but the course had some hard mixed with easy holes. Had a great time.

This golf course is fantastic. Having played many courses in southern, eastern and central Ontario as well as down east, out west and abroad I can safely say that the Hollinger is in every bit as good or better shape as those. With its' beautifully manicured fairways, huge undulating greens and numerous well-positioned bunkers and water hazards this course is as appealing to the eye as any of those top courses featured in Canada's top 100. With 4 sets of tees per hole it poses a challenge for golfers of all skill levels while still allowing them to enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings.
