Stay was really very good. Managed to book us in early in the day, which was fantastic for our group. Rooms generally spacious, although bedrooms run a little tight and the lighting is standard hotel dull. Kitchen and living room well appointed and the internet worked well and was fast. Good location in northern part of downtown, about a 500 m walk to the centre and the light rail, buses on the next street.

I stayed in this very clean and comfortable hotel recently for three nights. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials like plates, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, especially Roy and Othman on the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Calgary.

This is my go-to place to stay in Calgary. You are basically getting an apartment for less than the price of most downtown hotels. In addition, you get a free hot breakfast, and there is a gym. The location is nice and central, and walking distance from most downtown offices.
If you want the fanciest high-end linens, and granite floors, and marble sinks, and 24 hour room service, and a concierge, and you want to pay twice this price, then look elsewhere. However, if you truly want a "home" away from home, it's hard to beat Regency Suites.

LOVED our stay here. We had messed up our flights and found out last minute we were arriving in the city around 8:30AM instead of 8:30PM. The Regency let us check in when we got into town even though we were ridiculously early. They were very accommodating - priced very well, and set us up with a beautiful 2 bedroom suite. Will definitely stay here every time I travel to Calgary in the future :)

This hotel is perfect for stay in calgary . Service was wonderful. We booked it by calling few hours before check in and manager gave us upgrade to a very lovely queen suite which made our stay more comfortable and special. She is a wonderful person, very polite and caring, Loved the way she treated us . Location is perfect right in between the downtown. Thank you so much for all the great service !

At point of check-in the hotel did not/could not accept the CC and indicated they would issue a refund. Subsequently they emailed indicating that a refund of deposit would be issued.
The assistant manager intervined and reverted or prevented the refund from being issued. All staff had excellent professional demeanor. I feel that the assistant manager undermining her excellent staff is disgusting and unprofessional. I live a block away and often referred my relatives to this hotel. Fortunately another hotel has opened next door and I will no longer make the mistake of supporting this organization

Nicer than the exterior would lead you to believe. We stayed in a king room suite, which was more than enough space for our one night stay. The included breakfast was reasonable in selection and quality.
I would have preferred to see my more eco-friendly choices though, bulk filled shampoos, liquid hand soap, reusable dishes at breakfast.

Perfectly acceptable stay for the price. Excellent location and cheap parking available. Rooms a little dated, but if you are only looking for a place to sleep and grab breakfast, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Only nuisance - the fridge in the room is extremely loud and not very cold.

Their breakfast didn't even have tea available.
I had to use my Swiss army knife to tighten the screws on the bottom hinge of my bathroom door. This made it scrape against the floor slightly less.
The elevator is faster than taking the stairs, but just barely.
Location is great for where I needed to be, but I'll find something a little bit more comfortable for next time, even if it does put me a few blocks father away.

I stayed in this property with my family. Sounds like this is a family-run business. The staff was very polite. They don't have much authority to take any decision. I requested a 2hour late check-out, they allowed one hour. Very spacious, but the washroom is one of the smallest I have ever seen. The windows are dusty with lots of dead flies at the bottom frame. I could not sleep well as the refrigerator was too noisy from the beginning of the stay. I reported this matter of rattle noise to the front desk, but again, it sounds like they don't have any power to move the guests to a different room

This hotel is located right in downtown Calgary, within walking distance of tons of great restaurants and bars. From the outside, this building looks like it's seen better days and had me doubting what we'd booked. When we walked in though, it was clean and renovated, and the staff that checked us in were nice and friendly.
The hallways were a little dingy, but our actual room was great. It appeared to be super clean, was super cold (aka perfect sleeping temperature) and the bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable. If you're looking for a good price and good location in downtown

We were moved to different rooms a total of 5 times. My friend checked in first and she requested to be moved the first time because the room smelt like urine and the room was NOT clean. Upon moving once, she settled in and then eventually headed out. Upon my arrival, they checked me into the first room that my friend checked into. I was informed by my friend that she has been moved and I requested that I be moved into the new room and the front desk rep said that my friend's name was not associated with the new room number and will not be able to move me. He said that there is someone else

Room was very clean, air conditioning is only in the living room and inadequate to cool the suite, with outside temp at 18C and the suite was at 24C, bedroom had a portable air conditioner in the closet, you have to hook it up yourself
Wifi speed were 18mbps download and 9.5 upload.
Very limited parking at this location, above ground parking outside, paid parking and no valet. Bathroom is on the small side and light are very low, if your 6'2" high your have to crouch down to use the mirror.
Hotel was fairly quiet during this stay

This is where i stay during my first visit in calgary... i had a KING studio suite with a kitchen in it...which i think is good for the value.. i paid $280 for three nights... (if you to their website and book 2 weeks before youll get like 50% off)... which i think is not bad at all... but all in all my stay here was alright i had no probs at all... theres nothing baf i can say about this hotel... =)
