Services
With 50 years of martial arts experience in various martial arts styles our commitment to excellence and dedication has resulted in Millennium Martial Arts and Fitness in Vaughan providing over 22 years at the same location professional semi-private and small group classes of Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Tai-Chi or Self Defense.
At Millennium Martial Arts we offer Tai-Chi Chuan Yang Style simple form as well as practice deep breathing exercises. Tai-Chi increases flexibility, balance, and aerobic capacity, while at the same time reducing stress and strengthening muscles and tendons. Tai-Chi also delays aging and prolongs life, and has been effective in the treatment of some illnesses such as: arthritis, depression, fibromyalgia and many others.
Self Defense will help your children make new friends, excel in school, and believe in themselves. Our students learn to be peaceful and teach their mind to be calm and balanced by means of meditation. In our Aikido Program children learn how to defend themselves against a larger and stronger attacker and against weapons.
Yoshinkan Aikido has become well-known throughout the world, and people of many nationalities are training in Aikido. Every year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police sends ten of its members to spend one year as "Special Student" in the Yoshinkan Headquarters Dojo. YoShin Ryu Jujitsu is a stand up style of fighting, or "Willow Heart Style" is based on the pliability of the willow tree and its ability to bend under force rather than brake.
In our Jujitsu classes we teach adults and kids basic kicks, punches, blocks, throws, pins, locks, break-falls, rolls, and the "lever technique"(the use of leverage rather than power or brute force). Our classes are traditional meaning that when our students are ready, having acquired all the necessary knowledge they have to grade for that belt.

A great martial arts studio for learning tai-chi, jujitsu and aikido. Small classes of 4-8 students allow for quality learning and practice. The instructor is dedicated, passionate, generous and very good at teaching.

Excellent teacher and experience at Millennium Martial Arts!! Very patient and understanding with children. Focuses on discipline and respect which is lacking in many other places. Teaches the traditional martial arts and explains the moves very well. I learn new things and my children love coming as it is fun and educational!

Disrespectful teacher. Rufuses to teach me for absolutely no reason other than I came on the wrong day accidentally.
