Gilbert is a 'Certified Carpenter' where he graduated with Honors in 2001, in the field of carpentry at Algonquin College. He has been in the construction industry since 1997, working for a variety of companies before he decided to get his certification and work for himself. Gilbert takes great pride in producing a 'quality' product.

With Total Home, we are your 'One Stop Shop' (okay a bit clich) but we do provide services that meet your total design/renovation needs, from start to finish. This is a bedroom turned bathroom Design/Build Project. Our clients always wanted to have an EN-suite bathroom, and so came to us with the idea to turn the adjacent bedroom to her Master Bedroom, into an EN-suite.

We worked with Cindy at Total Home to have our house staged for selling. She was professional and communicated clearly and quickly. Staging and de-staging was done efficiently to minimize disturbance to our family. Our house sale was a great success in part to the beautiful furnishings and details that Cindy added. Total Home (Cindy) provided a very complete and thorough review of our home pre-staging. This allowed us to both understand what she would be doing for the actual staging and to prepare the house for her staging work. The staging was beautifully done - the house never looked this good!! And she did so using our own furniture, paintings and decor with a minimal number of items from her own inventory. Her arrangement of pictures, furniture and accessories complemented each room.

It was such a pleasure to work with Cindy of Total Home as we prepped and she staged our house for sale. Working with Cindy was a great experience. At first I thought hiring an interior designer meant leaving all the complex decisions to her and just waiting for the big reveal. While that was one way to go, we opted to work with Cindy to re-vamp or boring living room. Cindy helped with paint color selection (had to paint the entire house first) before we could get to the main event. We have had the pleasure of working with both Cindy and Gilbert. They helped redo our kitchen, choose paint colours for the rest of our home, and stage our condo. Our condo sold very quickly, and I’m sure that their work is what helped to sell it. We found their work to be reasonably priced, and they followed up to make sure we were satisfied. And, yes we were! It’s great to work with people to care about what they do, and who are very thorough and meticulous. We will certainly use both of their services in our new home.
