Did you know acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine can reduce stress by restoring your body's natural hormonal equilibrium? These are safe, time-tested approaches to healing that leave out synthetic medications with potential harmful side effects. In a 2010 study published in the journal Neuroscience Letters, researchers looked at the effect of acupuncture on psychological distress, including depression, anxiety and stress.
Acupuncture has been shown to help people with insomnia develop better sleep patterns without the use of chemical medications that can lead to dependency. Research published in 2004 in the Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neuroscience looked at the effect of acupuncture on patients with insomnia related to anxiety.
Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
Acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for over 5,000 years. Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of new studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and medical research facilities from all over the world. Today, acupuncture is receiving wide acceptance as a respected, valid and effective form of health care.
Gathering this information enables the practitioner to effectively diagnose and detect any specific imbalances of Qi that may have contributed to a persons health problems. The practitioner can then create a well-structured treatment plan. Once the imbalances of Qi are detected, an acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints along meridian pathways.

Would give 5-stars if it weren’t for the ER triage experience. Husband came in with severe stomach pain, we knew it was a flare up because he’s had it before but triage sent him for a chest X-ray because they thought he had COVID due to a fever. He tested negative for COVID and they still didn’t get anyone to get him the CT scan needed to verify his illness. I had to address the triage nurse because he was burning up and they gave him nothing until I voiced my concern. Got there at 9:30 pm and wasn’t given a bed in the ER until 4 am. I understand not having beds due to all the COVID patients

I’ve never encountered such a negative attitude with a staff member in the emergency department. I called on behalf of a homeless man that I consider family because I dropped him off there to get checked for severe abdominal pain, dizziness and trouble walking. From 5pm - 12:00am he was in the lobby with only blood work done. No results yet either. No ultrasound of the abdomen or ct scan. I called on his behalf because while checking up on him he needed to go to the bathroom but because of his dizziness he was afraid to go. Their response on the lengthy wait. Nobody invited him here. I asked

Beautiful, state-of-the-art the arts hospital, with the most compassionate and brilliant medical team we have ever seen. They saved my husband's life after having a heart attack on Christmas week. Their support staff is also very helpful and take pride in helping their patients. Especially, Mrs. PATRICIA RYAN Ryan one of their Financial Coordinators. She treated us like family and for that, we will always be grateful 🙏!!

Absolutely appalled at the awful service we received at the a&e here. Only went for a repeat prescription for my son. They wanted his insurance to send a confirmation they would pay all fees ( alarm bells - how much is a repeat prescription? ) They then left us sat there in a room full of ill COVID patients on oxygen for three hours with no windows open, refused to say how long it would be. They then moved us to a room where we sat another hour. In the end, we left having seen no one. We got a repeat prescription within minutes from a walk in centre nearby.
They then had the audacity to send a

Just spent 5 days with my grandma at neighborhood G room G2114. This was the easiest experience that we ever had inside of a hospital. The entire team, nurses, technicians, nutrition, cleaning and doctors did a amazing job.
My grandma doesn’t speak any English, only Portuguese, the hospital allowed me and my brother to stay with her switching every 12 hours to help with translation. However every possibility they had, a Portuguese speaker (nurse or technician) came by and made her day special. I would say names, but they are too many to thank.
May God bless all professionals that helped us

This review is a shout out to a very special nurse. All of the nurses, PA's, doctors, case managers we had at this hospital were excellent at their jobs, but Guerline was a stand out. My husband was in the hospital, 4th floor, labor and delivery (overflow due to pandemic keeping the beds full) delivering a very stubborn 9mm kidney stone. Guerline was his nurse on several of his days there and I have to say, she took time with him to make sure he was not only taken care of physically, but also emotionally. After a huge miss by a previous facility being the reason this stone had the opportunity to

So My mom took my 86 yr old dad to the ER for COVID symptoms, it came out positive. He didn’t get no meds because they were short and needed the meds for “other people” let’s say younger???. He got admitted for 2 days without medications, they couldn’t deal with my dad’s conditions also (dementia/Alzheimer), my parents waited 2 days in the hospital to hear from the cardiologist and he never came to talk to them. He just sent a nurse to tell my mom they could leave. No explanation of tests results, no meds NOTHING. This hospital is getting worse…. My dad’s primary doctor had to explain

Amazing pediatric staff. Came from another hospital which was very crowded. I called to see if this hospital was busy as well, the person I spoke to on the phone took his time and checked the rooms to see how busy they were. He said come in now and we can see your daughter right away. She had a deep gash on her shin and needed 5 stitches. The child support assistant was incredible to my daughter, was with her the entire time playing and distracting her. The nurse practitioner was very professional and patient and explained everything thoroughly. Was an amazing experience and would highly recommend

Daughter had to go to ER due to severe abdominal pain etc. Went to an urgent care first and they directed us to go to an ER attached to a hospital, so there was obvious concern about potential serious issues.
Got here about 12:30 AM on Saturday night/Sunday morning - lots of people in the waiting room - many who were actually sleeping in their chairs while my daughter was bent over crying for literally hours. The pain ended up being diagnosed as an infected gallbladder requiring emergency surgery.
As a nurse myself, I was very concerned about the apparent lack of triaging of patients as it seemed

Thank you for your lack of care for parents, the furniture that you all expect people to use and sleep in is in humane and you should all be ashamed!! One would think that after years of hospitality services you all would learn how to accommodate the people that come to this establishment... I took it upon myself to try and make things less miserable for me & the mother of our new born child. We slept for 2 days on a single person futon & a reclining chair and almost lost our minds from being sleep deprived, that’s when I brought an air mattress into our room which made our stay here bearable
