Cornerstone Theatre is one of Canmore's most sought out wedding venues and accommodates weddings from 80 to 200 guests. Built out of Manitoba barn wood in a cabin-style venue, the Theatre is the perfect mix between comfort and natural elegance. It has that rustic-chic feel to it that makes a wedding in the mountains even more magical!
With three different outdoor ceremony sites to choose from and a bright and welcoming Banquet Room, the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park is one of the best full service wedding venues in Canmore! Built for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, the park boasts exceptional mountain biking and cross country ski trails.

We just had our wedding July 17,2021 at the Nordic centre and cornerstone coordinated. The day went perfectly and location was stunning. Our coordinator was Jessica and she was there all through out the… planning process and made everything go as smoothly as possible. They were very quick to get back to us when we had questions or needed to change something. The food was incredible and all of our guests were so impressed with the food and the organization through out the day. There was a hiccup with the sound when we were doing our grand entrance but they figured it out quickly. They worked

After 3 dates and the ever-changing COVID restrictions. My husband and I finally got married last week! Cornerstone has been with us throughout the stressful process and we can't thank you enough for all the support! Our coordinator Christian was truly a shining light with his positivity and humour. Cornerstone was AMAZING to work with! The booking process was so well done and were great with responding by email and by phone! Our visit down there for the walk through was exceptional! The food and service was great, everything was done with zero stress! Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding due to Covid Restrictions as no receptions were… allowed. We were contacted by Christian that refunds were being done because it was our of their control.
They are a beautiful venue and I wish we would be able to experience our wedding there! I would highly recommend!

This company is a complete and total joke. They lie through their teeth and they steal money from couples during a pandemic. My fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding because of covid restrictions and when we tried to reschedule the date, which by the way is exactly what cornerstone is claiming to be doing for their customers. We were told no! We… were told our deposit is gone ! Poof just disappeared and we have to put down another one. I’ll add we never received ANY services from cornerstone not a walk through nothing. We tried to reschedule and they tried to steal our deposit

Joanne was amazing to working with! We booked our venue and then 2. 5 months later covid hit. Let’s just say I had lots of questions and Joanne and the cornerstone was extremely professional to deal with and… always gave me all my options. My husband and I decided that we were going to keep our original date no matter what and all I can say is we had zero regret! We were only allowed a ceremony as our date landed during the strictest restrictions the government enforced so things were very limited but we would do it all over again if we could. We had the most amazing experience with cornerstone. We went with their outdoor ceremony package, despite being in a pandemic they worked tirelessly to make sure we had what we needed and everything for our day still felt special. Our day went smoothly and I’m so glad we had a coordinator to help us navigate all the ins and outs of a ceremony.

They should be more considerate of their clients that have been forced to reschedule one of the most important day of their lives. They should be refunding deposits where the client has not received any service other than a showing, where Cornerstone has now slotted couples into these dates for their elopement service and also are probably getting… Government assistance. Cornerstone is triple dipping here with no regard for clients hard earned money. Do the right thing and refund monies where applicable. Why can other wedding venues do these refunds and you can't? Why can small wedding vendors
