Dr. Leanne Murphy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree, she obtained her DMD at the University of Manitoba. She was awarded the gold medal in Dentistry for the class of 1998 for the highest academic and clinical standing. She then spent an additional year of training at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, which included training in providing IV sedation and wisdom tooth extraction.
Your lifestyle and the aging process can stain and darken your teeth. Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking. Whitening can get your smile looking its best. We assess each patient to determine the best whitening option, including take home bleaching and Zoom!
Our team of professionally trained dental hygienists provide scaling, root planing, polishing and fluoride treatments ("dental cleaning") at intervals suitable to your personal needs. When we clean your teeth we remove soft deposits such as plaque and hard deposits such as tartar, calculus, or stains from your teeth.
Invisalign straightens teeth to give you the confidence of a great smile. Using a series of clear, virtually invisible aligners, Invisalign gently and gradually moves your teeth based on the treatment plan prescribed by Dr. Murphy. There are no wires or brackets, so you'll have confidence in your smile during and after treatment.
There have been great strides in Orthodontics in recent years. Braces are smaller and work faster. We use self ligating brackets which do not require ligating elastic bands, leaving elastic bands for what they were meant for! Invisalign is an also an option for some patients who are seeking a discreet orthodontic option.

This place is horrible if I could give negative stars I would. I can't comment on the dentist's skills but the receptionist is the worst. First tells me my coverage only covers emergencies, then when I call and find out not the case, she then proceeds to inform me it's still going to be a huge bill. Borderline criminal in squeezing patients for their last penny. She even kept the pre-authorization for the x-rays and bite test. I even found out later from the Alberta Dental Services Commission she wasn't allowed to charge me out of pocket under my current coverage. This is not a good place to go
