Emily Dancy is an original "Gymny Kricket" (BGA's former name) and has been a part of the sport of gymnastics since a very young age. She began her Coach-in-Training certification at the age of 12 and has been coaching ever since (28 years experience). She has experience coaching all ages from the "You & Me" to the adult level.
Our 'Sea of Fun' consists of a variety of different classes to introduce athletes to the fundamental movements required in gymnsatics. Gymnasts registered for this program are required to pay their annual $35 Gymnastics Ontario insurance fee (valid Sept - June) if they have not already done so during this season.
This program is offered to pre-school aged children. it is geared towards getting your child prepared for school while incorporating lots of physical activity. A limited number of spots are available, so register soon! Gymnastics activities help to work on your child's coordination, static and dynamic balance, posture, body awareness and strength.
Our recreational program consists of a variety of different classes, each offering a different perspective to the sport of gymnastics. As BGA is non-profit, we do fundraise. These monies go towards buying new equipment to enhance our gym. This 1.5hr class is for girls who have significant gymnastics experience and successfully completed CANGYM levels 1 (burgundy) to 4 (bronze).
Our main objective for providing day camp is to provide a friendly atmosphere where children over the age of 4 can meet new friends, learn new skills in a fully-equipped gymnastics facility and most importantly: have LOTS OF FUN! Instructors are certified with the National Coaching Certification Program and have experience working with children of all ages and ability.

Great place to bring your little ones for some exercise. Location is turning into a real gem, its located directly beside the splash pad for the summer , and an outdoor covered ice rink for the winter.
Has classes and also usually hosts at least one "drop in" session per week where you can pay $5 per young child and let them run around and try whatever they want.
