You Guys wants some free advertising here it is. I ordered some casket spray flowers last week for my son's prayer service. The employee advised that there were different sizes with different costs. I ordered the smaller size and for that is all I could afford. When the flowers arrived at the funeral home. I was very disappointed at what I got. CHEAP FLOWERS No roses in the spray, but only the Cheapest FLOWERS and they cost a FORTUNE. The employee was Very rude and non-accommodating in this time of need (No empathy).It is really Shameful that a business like yours would take advantage of someone

Worst flower arrangement I have ever received. They were a gift or I would promptly return. A sparse Christmas arrangement that I ended up adding to in order to actually keep to display. Has a rose that is so dead already that I will have to replace after 12 hours.. The alstroemerias are beyond there best before date already wilting. I added water which, due to the foam placement in the wooden container, leaked all over my dining room table. I would not recommend this florist. This is the second horrible arrangement from Shig’s.

I had friends who lost their dog of 15 years and I wanted to send them some flowers. Not having a lot of time on my hands, I called Shigs and told them the situation. I basically gave them a price that I was comfortable paying and a contact number and they took it from there. They took care of making the arrangement, contacting my friends, and they delivered the flowers out when it worked best for my friends. And they did it with less than a days notice! I received a bouquet of flowers from Shigs last Saturday sent by my daughter for Mother's Day and almost a week later they are still beautiful. The lilies opened up and also the other flowers in the bouquet have stayed fresh. Yesterday I trimmed the ends and used the floral supplement provided. Thanks so much for providing such a wonderfully fresh bouquet .

When I opened the flowers I notice the gentleman threw me a few extra on too of letting me know he had a sale today! We have had nothing but excellent service from Shigs. They have always delivered high quality long lasting flowers and/or arrangements from Shigs. Having just read a number of the negative reviews posted on Shigs site I can't help but wonder if even the highest quality of most any living thing wouldn't wilt in these negative authors presence. I went to Shig's because it was recommended by a friend. I ordered an arrangement for $150, being promised a certain flower composition. When picking it up, the lilies I ordered were not included. I complained and they did then place them in. Four days later, the gladiolas never opened and drooped, plus the orange vase I picked out was not orange, but spray painted and the coating started flaking. Not impressed.

I only write reviews when I am either extremely impressed or utterly disappointed with a business. Shig's Flowers falls in the first category. The quality is second to none. Their flowers are fresher and last longer than any other flower shop in Sherwood Park or Edmonton! The arrangements are gorgeous and their staff is friendly and efficient. My visits to the store remind me of shopping on Main Street in a small town. In and out with a custom wrapped bouquet in under 10 minutes. Or better yet, call in and have your flowers delivered. Shig's is a fairly small flower shop in Sherwood Park that I stopped into one day for a dose of something bright and cheery on an otherwise dreary day.
I slipped in out of the rain and wind, and was immediately greeted by a florist, who welcomed me to the shop and asked if she could help.
"Yes, I want to step into your flower refrigerator for a moment to get a boost of seretonin," I thought, then just smiled and told her I'd puttter.
