In many ways the retention phase is the most important part of your treatment. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you've put in so far. You will be provided with five sets of retainers (five upper and five lower) to ensure you have what you need to maintain your smile for years to come.
No two patients' treatment will be exactly the same, which is part of what makes orthodontics so interesting. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Agapas and his staff for their dedication, knowledge, kindness and respectful work environment. My daughter had orthodontic work done a few years ago. Every visit was greeted with smiles and genuine interest in both her teeth and her. She is still adamant on keeping up with her retainer wear. Amazing Orthodontist. They are very nice and answered every question I had. I have had braces twice now from Dr. Agapas (my fault for needing them the 2nd time; I didn't wear my night retainer).. & both times the work was nothing but perfect. The people there are very kind and accommodating. They worked around my work schedule perfectly for scheduled visits. I was kind of sad when my treatment was complete today because I enjoyed going for a visit lol. They really made you feel comfortable there. I wouldn't recommend anybody else if you or your child needs braces. You won't be disappointed. Very

Dr Agapas and his staff are so kind and welcoming. From Karen at the front desk to Robin who is so great at the financial aspect of the process to Dr Agapas himself who I can tell loves what he does and takes the time to answer my questions. The office and his practice I feel is up to date with current pratices in orthodontic care. My daughters teeth look so good and we have our son now with Dr Agapas for his braces.

I was referred to Dr Agapas by a friend when I was researching Kingston area Orthodontists for adult braces. I'm very glad I took her advice. My braces were removed yesterday and the results were better than I'd hoped for. Dr Agapas and his team were always pleasant and professional to deal with and were very accommodating to my schedule when booking appointments.They were patient explaining the financial component and included me in all aspects of my treatment. The service we have been provided over the years has been nothing but amazing. I had a child who refused to smile. She has been braces free for 2 months and can't stop smiling. She has received many compliments on her teeth and how wonderful they look. We're so pleased, I carry business cards in my wallet for that moment when asked where and who did the work. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Tim Agapas since 2010 when my then 12 year old son required braces. The office staff was warm and inviting and made the experience comfortable. Approximately one year later my 15 year old daughter needed braces and again Dr. Agapas and staff were warm and accommodating. December 2013 I decided at the age of 44 it was my turn. My entire life I didn't like to smile much as my two front teeth were crossed over, I was very self conscious. Dr. Agapas did an amazing job correcting my teeth. I was somebody who had already had braces, but was never happy with the results. I was nervous to take the leap and have them again- but Dr. Agapas and his staff made it completely worth it!

Having already received orthodontic treatment as a youngster, I walked into Dr. Agapas' office with certain expectations, all of which were easily surpassed. If you are looking for a quality Orthodontist, who is genuine, charismatic and meticulous, look no further; this is your guy. 10 years ago when I was starting my orthodontic treatment I made an appointment with Dr. Agapas, and as he was inspecting my mouth he blatantly said to my mother that my nose was too big for my face, and basically I wouldn't be pretty unless I got my nose done.
I left crying and hurt that someone would say this to a 11 year old girl. Looking back on it now I can see how unprofessional and downright rude he was, and I'm thankful I went to an alternate orthodontist. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Agapas unless you want to destroy your child's self confidence
