Our founder, Gerhard Wiebe, realized that while a business inevitably changes over time, its success is directly related to its employees' passion and the principles on which the business is founded. We will be completely honest in all our dealings, even if that honesty costs us financially. Our company name "Diemo" is a conflation of dies and moldings-two essential components of the machining industry in 1982, when we were just starting out.
We are passionate machinists and fabricators who are committed to constantly improving our business and craft by embracing ever-evolving procedures, technology, and lean manufacturing techniques, in order to serve our customers better. We recognize that we are interconnected with our corporate clients and understand that it is only through their success that we will remain successful.
The 5-axis multi-tasking machining center is a key element in our strategic efforts to further improve our consistent quality. This allows us to reduce waste and errors by combining various steps into one, which in turn gives our customers better quality parts at competitive prices. We have numerous vertical mills giving us a huge capacity with a wide range of capabilities.
We use Trumpf technology for our laser cutting, with integrated automatic loading & unloading. Our lasers tables are 60" x 120" and can cut up to.750" thick mild steel. Our press brake capabilities complement our lasers, allowing us to provide our customers with formed parts where needed. Our 6-axis back stop system offers the highest degree of flexibility, with fingers that can take separate positions, independent of each other.
Our CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certified welders are trained to work with various types of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. We also have large overhead cranes that allow us to handle big assemblies easily. We offer robotic welding services, which guarantees high precision and high repeatability.
