Renewal is a collection of independent organizations founded by Carol Newell. Leveraging her entire portfolio, Renewal works to foster healthy social, ecological and economic environments that benefit everyone.
These organizations include her initial two entities, Endswell and Renewal Partners Company (a charitable foundation and a private seed-capital investment company), as well as Renewal Land (social purpose real estate) and Play BIG (a gathering to catalyze wealth for change).

Through the 1990s the Endswell Foundation was the largest, BC based, charitable foundation funding environmental issues in the province. Endswell's grant-making era is now complete. Carol Newell founded Endswell with the intention to spend beyond the annual earnings-choosing to maximize its immediate impact over its longevity as a private institution.
Renewal has created relationships between many agents of social change, initiating and incubating networks of organizations and leaders to enable them to make the greatest possible positive impact on society. Renewal has convened events that bring together progressive investors, philanthropists, activists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who influence societal issues.
