As we are still operating, to help keep everyone safe, our moving professionals are practicing mandated "social distancing", which means our driver and crews will not shake your hand and will be working the recommended distance from others (when possible). But you CAN expect a warm welcome and a big smile.

In 1997, John Gray Moving & Storage launched our Cross-Border division with very impressive results. Our success has been the result of an extensive employee training program, excellent personalized service, and extremely competitive rates. If you are considering an overseas move, we urge you to first meet with one of our moving consultants.
At John Gray Moving & Storage, we specialize in long-distance moving, but our Montreal movers handle many local moves, and we are equipped to handle moves across Canada or across the street. You'll get the same friendly, personalized service either way. Local moves are generally charged at an hourly rate.
If your goods need to be stored while in transit or for the long term, we have the facilities to meet your needs. Our bonded storage warehouse is secure, clean, insured, and climate controlled. Your furniture will remain wrapped in moving pads and be stored in locked compartments. Every storage shipment is inventoried, and our customers are provided with a copy of the inventory list.

Terrible service, lost our items, driver checked off as there, claims wont do anything about it, broke items not replacing the full amount found cheap stuff off amazon, when our items were custom made from local small businesses, customer service is terrible, never got an update when asked took a month to get anything passed the date expected, showed up was rude when packing.
Over all a terrible experience and I would not recommend.

John Gray Moving did a great job in a pinch, on short notice! Their team even responded to a website inquiry on a long weekend! Definitely recommend! The team did a great job of Tetris to help move things from a flood damaged basement to fit inside the garage in a convenient and safe way.

Wrapped up all the furniture and were very efficient (time wise).
Fyi....this is my 3rd time using them!
Just as a note if you're moving, be as prepared as possible, have everything done the night before except for last second things.( get up at 6am to finalize)Prepare a medium box called open first for clothes and toiletteries and important things when arriving at your new residence!

The best mover and the most caring movers that I’ve ever come across. I wish , I could give them more than 5 stars ⭐️ but that is all that is available. I know we will use them again.

I’ve got a complaint with the customer service at John Gray Movers. Used them on the 17th. Went smoothly enough. Noticed they charged twice on the credit card. Left them a message on the 26th knowing it’s the holidays.
Called the cc company with the dispute. Don’t want to pay any interest on a charge that’s not mine.
Waited for John Gray to… call back. called back today 10:00am seems like plenty of time. Left 2nd message this time with a human. Told someone would call back quickly. Waited, called back an hour later. Told someone would call back. Disappointed. Seems
