Great hotel for the price. Nothing fancy but the rooms were kept clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The only issue was that the wifi was nearly unusable, if you have a long stay ahead I would bring a hard drive with TV shows on it since Netflix isn't going to work. Next time I find myself in Swan Hills I will be certain to choose the Derrick Motor Inn again.

This motel caters mainly to the oilfield.
It is very clean. New flat screen tv's. The beds are comfortable.
The location is very good downtown, within a city block from grocery store, rexall pharmacy, and restaurants.
Desk staff is professional and friendly.
While this is not your city Hilton, it is clean - affordable - and safe
