This location is ideal, just by the bridge when you access Manitoulin Island. The hotel and conference rooms are very clean and the atmosphere is quiet and professional for any number of visitors or participants. The staff are most friendly and contribute to the relaxed mood that you experience on the island. I recommend it warmly!

This hotel has nice rooms. Nothing special but good enough.
I am gave it two stars because the staff seem to have an attitude like I was bothering them.
I saw their response to my review and this is exactly what I am talking about. There is no customer service. We are fortunate to stay in this place. If we have issues, it is our problem. It is unfortunate because it is the nicest place in Little Current but next time I will be staying down the street in one of the motels

I'd give 3.5 stars to our experience. We took a waterfront room, and indeed the view was beautiful except the old gas tank placed just beneath our window (is it safe at all?) BTW, the window was probably never cleaned from outside (dirt and spiders in the corners). The bathroom is very large and obviously suited for disabled. I'd prefer having a larger bedroom with regular bath. Also, the water isn't drained well in the bath and the light switches are confusing (you should figure out that to separate bath light from the main entrance light, there is a switch in the bedroom). Overall, I didn't feel

Room and building was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant food was good and staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Multiple nights stays do not get cleaning service although you can pick up extra towels, etc from the front desk. Good location right beside information centre and swing bridge. Close to downtown and trials.

It was as its name, a hotel & conference center on Manitoulin. Beautiful architecture makes up the show piece of a reception area. Some amazing Indigenous Artists work throughout the property. They have an outside pool. And just outside the doors of the parking lot are the Visitors Center and food options.

Enjoyed my stay here.Wish it was longer.Hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable. Shower was great and the atmosphere is cozy . The distance to restaurants is good. Staff was sufficiently friendly..manager seems a bit cold as he didn't respond when greeted but that doesn't deter from the overall experience. I agree with a previous reviewer about the ugly exterior windows..it contradicts the cleanliness of the interior but that again doesn't affect the overall experience. Will be the only place we stay on the island.

Nice hotel, clean rooms with comfortable beds but zero effort to maintain exterior pool area, weeds all over pool deck, not a lot of sitting options, even a broken chair. Biggest reason for the 3 stars is the low customer service, front desk staff is not welcoming at all, even when checking in you feel like they are doing you a favour. No training on proper customer service. I.e: I called front desk went like this
Staff: front desk
Me: hi, just wondering if the restaurant requires reservation
Staff: first come, first serve (hung up)
Similar experience when checking in, they certainly do not

Recently visited the Island for a wedding and had quite the ordeal with room reservations. We had a reservation with a room block for the wedding and decided to confirm the room a week before the wedding (not something we typically do), only to find out that because the Hotel had requested the wedding be cancelled due to Covid they also cancelled all the rooms in the room block with out any notification sent to any of the guests who had booked (even though the wedding was still happening, just not at the Hotel). After several conversation back and forth with the front desk we finally got ahold

Great hotel, comfortable rooms, clean, etc. Restaurant is disappointing. Frozen vegetable side, potato served whole and fried. Potato soup oddly chunky rather than smooth. Bison steak mediocre. Chef yelled each order out for servers to pick up and I could hear his entire conversations to his staff because he yelled out instructions. This place has the potential to be amazing, disappointed with the food, so went to Elliott's nearby instead of heading back for Breakfast.
