Services
Learner's Academy Driving School Ltd. is a family operated school that has been serving the downtown Toronto, West End community since 1985. We are a registered company and a provider of the BDE certificate program. We continue to offer a variety of drivers education programs that promote defensive driving and road safety.
Our policies are strict because of the way our driving courses are: designed, planned and executed. The student's hands-on practice is done on pre-designated areas similar to the road test centres in order to comply to road safety, defensive driving and to acquire your driver's license. We will not pick up or drop off our students at any location other than our centre.
The first step to acquiring a G1 license is to study the basic road signs and rules of the road in Ontario. You can purchase the booklet at our office or at most major retailers such as Canadian Tire, WalMart, Zellers or most convenience stores across Ontario. Once you have studied then you can proceed to the next stage which is to find a drive test center at the nearest location to you.
Student Agreement: I understand, agree and acknowledge that I am required to complete the BDE online digital course provided by Learner's Academy Driving School Provider, consisting of 40 hours, within TWELVE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS, otherwise this agreement will expire by default without refunds or credits.

Learner's Academy Driving School is amazing! After a few classes with Carlos as my instructor, I passed my G test on the first try. Carlos is amazing with great teaching techniques. Not only was he a wonderful teacher but has also become a great friend! Will be referring my friends and family to him in the future!

All my experience went back to 5 years ago when I was driving for G2 and had no confidence to drive because of lack of driving experience. I searched for a professional instructor and found Learner's Academy Driving School by reading Google reviews. Ronald is a professional and patient instructor with excellent communication skills. He explained many times a lesson and taught me driving rules with images and videos. He knows how to monitor his students and review their mistakes with a solution. Ronald was honestly the best driving teacher I've ever had. With two former teachers in another province, Ronald actually made driving feel comfortable, safe and proactive. He broke down things I didn't understand very simply, and they are now my strengths in driving. I passed my G2 in my first attempt because he helped me really be prepared. When it's time for my G test, he is the only teacher I will return to. :)

My instructor Ron was really professional and his communication skills were on point. They helped me pass both my G2 and G test in the first try. I could ask any question about different situations and Ron explained with images and videos about how to navigate through the situation.
After having a bad experience with another driving school where the instructor was just writing in their schedule book or talking on their phone. They really changed my mind and I would highly recommend learner’s academy.

This is certainly the best driving school in Toronto. Ronald taught me how to drive well while being cautious and confident. He also answered all my questions with examples and illustrations. Driving in downtown Toronto is quite hard but Ronald taught me how to drive safely in the area. One of the best thing was communication, Ronald promptly replied to my texts. I did not expect him to take calls as I understood they’d be teaching others during the day. I highly recommend this school for their reliability!

Albert is an amazing instructor who helped me go from a terrified, anxious driver to a confident and safe one. I can’t recommend him enough! His patience, communication, knowledge of downtown driving, and encouragement were instrumental in me passing my G2 test…on the first try! He makes driving FUN! Miss you Albert! Albert was an amazing teacher who helped me get my G2 license. he was very patient and clearly explained to me the rules of the road and turned me into a confident driver. he was also a friendly guy who was fun to talk to while I was practicing. I would highly recommend Albert as a teacher and will be back to prepare for my G license road test!

I found Learner's Academy using Google Maps, and I did driving lessons for getting my G2 with Ronald. Ronald is a FANTASTIC teacher and he helped me become a much safer and confident driver. I already had a foreign license and knew how to drive, but Ronald helped bring me to a whole new level of safety and situational awareness, and I passed my G2 road test on my first try.
