We hand roll every eggroll and springroll we serve. We take great care in preparing our own sauces, dips, our own house-made seasonings, spices and our own marinades. We take no shortcuts. The best thing I like about diplomat was it's buffet and in the buffet my favorite part is dessert. Best and huge varieties. The part which I don't like us the menu for buffet is always comman. I wish there was more chicken dishes and felt the price was lil expensive

We normally have great service at Diplomat.
However, we put in a delivery order at 5:20 to be delivered at 6:30 and we are just receiving it now at 7:22. Quite disappointing!!!
We called a couple of times only to get answers of, its on its way and roads are bad. It we hadn't of pre-ordered, those excuses may seem reasonable.

Ordered from the Diplomat a few nights ago; first time in a few years. Food was very fresh and the portions were more than enough. Service was great, as food was packed and ready for when they said. Well worth the money spent. Will definitely continue to use the Diplomat as our go-to.

Friendly staff and a lot of variety. They have an all day breakfast option, large lunch and dinner menu and a buffet option.
The food itself could have been a bit more flavourful compared to some of the other Chinese food spots around town. The price is also pretty average for the city. We had the buffet option and so got to sample much of the different dishes. Everything was cooked well and for $33 it's worth it, if like me, you eat a lot. Nice desserts too.

My wife and I had an excellent supper the Chinese food was very good. The service was awesome. We went there for our 6th wedding anniversary and we were treated to a happy anniversary song and a treat. This was our first time there.
Our service was done by Glenda and she has to be among the best in Fredericton if not the best. Her personality is great and we had lots of laughs with her.
We will be going back, that is a given and we hope and will be asking to be seated at her tables.

Awesome supper. The number of awards on the wall are quite understandable after eating there. Fantastic buffet. Service by Christina was top notch! Thank you! Cannot recommend it enough.

Great variety of foods, except don't come here too late at night as they didn't have much selection left for the people that wanted to get a desert. Their Chinese food was really good and different from what I normally get anywhere else around NB.

On our first day in Fredericton, my wife and I were invited for a brunch at the Diplomat and we couldn't have asked for a better welcoming present! The breakfast is simply delicious! All staff members were great at their jobs, treated us wonderfully and the prices were fair. It's not a mystery why this is a classic and traditional place in Fredericton. We recommend it to everyone!!!
