Therapeutic massage is an important part of your health and wellness plan. It can help you when you are injured, stressed, in chronic pain, or simply in need of a little relaxation & balance. Ongoing massage therapy can help you achieve a preventative approach to your health & well-being. Today massage is thought of as a holistic therapy that complements medical treatment.
Although our reception staff is sighted, all our licensed massage therapists are visually impaired to varying degrees. It is said that when one of our senses is lost or impaired our other senses become heightened and we feel especially advanced and attuned to the healing and relaxing aspects of massage as we've learned to master our already sensitive kinaesthetic abilities.
The iPad is adapted for your visually impaired massage therapist to be able to review your file. You will then be guided into one of our massage suites to relax and familiarize yourself with the surroundings.
Once your therapist has had a few moments to review your information they will join you in the suite to discuss a plan of action for your massage treatments, discuss any issues that you might feel important and help you customize the room to your personal comfort level, including peaceful acoustics, aromatherapy, and lighting levels which can range from ambient to complete darkness.It's all about you.

Kim is a fantastic massage therapist. Each time i've seen Kim she is very warm and remembers our last visit. She is very receptive during the massage and will check in on the pressure, if you are cold, etc. I am happy to recommend Hands that See to anyone looking for a massage therapist.

Kim is an amazing massage therapist. You'll get a full body massage and she'll loosen any tight muscles in your body. Her studio is clean and relaxing. All precautions are taken to make you feel safe and comfortable. Once you leave, you'll be so relaxed you'll want to be picked up instead of driving home. Once you have one massage, you'll want to go for more.

Walked in of course not knowing what to expect. Well it was a clean , new and welcoming environment. One thing I need is to feel warm ( my feet get cold.) The massage bed was heated!! Bonus ;) The massage bed was ultra soft and comfy. Kim was so professional and she has the gift of finding the trouble spots. Thank you for this lovely experience.
