The Quinte Child Care Centre began over 35 years ago as the BCI Child Care Centre at the now closed Belleville Collegiate Institute and Vocational School as a drop-in program for adults who were returning to high school to earn their diploma. The BCI Child Care Centre moved to Quinte Secondary School in 1992 and began operating under the name of QSS Child Care Centre.
We continued to offer licensed child care services to our community in that location until 2018. Our staff believe that all children are competent, capable and rich in potential and we strive to offer each child the opportunities and support to pursue, share and celebrate their abilities and interests.

Services
At Quinte Child Care Centre, we recognize the need for infant spaces in our local community. As such, we offer three spaces for infants between the ages of 0 and 18 months. A warm and loving atmosphere prevails in our Infant Room where a 1 : 3 ratio (one staff to three infants) enables our staff to provide individualized care for each baby.
Quinte Child Care Centre offers ten spaces for toddlers between the ages of 18 and 30 months in a safe, well-equipped, attractively decorated play space. As each child grows and develops, we provide the opportunity for safe, supervised exploration in areas of interest. A 1 : 5 ratio (one staff to five toddlers) is provided during programming time.
Quinte Child Care Centre offers sixteen spaces for children between the ages of 2.5 to 5 years old. By supplying children with appropriate activities to facilitate math and language skills (such as games, arts, crafts, baking, etc), they learn to explore, differentiate, make choices, and understand concepts.

Food menu is good and healthy. These guys are always getting outside with the children. Very sweet staff. Very organized and professional management who follows and knows all regulations. He is always doing what he can to better and improve the day care for the kids. This day care has been a great new addition to the Park Dale school community. Being that they are newly (2018) relocated in the school!
