Thank you to the folks at the Royal Lodge. We got stuck in Hope BC during a snow storm and they had a room for us on the 2nd day of this crazy trip and snow and closed roads. The best night sleep I have had in a very long time
Thank you.for the memory foam bed you have.

Room is small, I found hairs not ours in the bed covers. Cups were dirty. We would have left but we were travel weary and the weather was bad. Owner was rude and unhelpful to my husband . For nearly $140.00 I want more than this and would not recommend it to anyone.

I wish I was joking but sleeping in my car would've been preferable, and not cost $140. I've been all over BC in countless motels for work and hands down this is the absolute worst. Take a hint from the no refund sign at the front and get the heck out of there. Total trash motel and they obviously know it.

Very nice owners, rooms need good cleaning and updates.
1 pane windows felt unsecure, smoke came in from smokers on each side of my door.

Terrible room. Walls were paper thin and could hear all the conversations in the next room. There were squished bugs on the ceiling. No one had dusted in 6 months. The dust was thick. The coffee machine was dirty and dusty. The microwave was full of food splatter.
Barely any channels on the tv.

Very disappointed. $ 138 for one night. Uncomfortable bed. The shower is so stupidly low...if you're taller than 4 feet 3 inches tall...good luck enjoying it. Small space. Did not feel secure with only a dead bolt and locking handle. But on the bright side... it was the only motel open at 2:00 a.m. in Hope BC. And the gentleman that helped us was wonderful. That is the only reason I gave this rating 3 stars.
Will not return.

For the price, I would not recommend. This is VERY basic accommodation; no wifi (password stamped on back of receipt doesn’t work) terrible snowy TV, no answer from the office. Shower heads are super low- if you’re tall you have to duck way down to wet your head. ‘Kitchenette’ is where the closet is, so you can’t even hang up your coat unless it’s really short. No tea offered, just coffee. For $120 in off season, you can stay in a MUCH nicer place.

Very clean and very comfortable bed. The front counter person was pleasant and welcoming. However as a stranded traveller I needed a longer check out time while awaiting a technician. The counter person told me I had to pay an additional fee for approximately 4 hours longer. The Motel was not full by any means as the parking area was empty apart from my vehicle and two others? They also told me that if I needed to park the car for a day or so it would be an additional $10.00 per day. I could understand if the facility was booked. So as a stranded traveller this caused additional concern and cost

Lovely family run Motel. Staff was gracious and kind. Furnishings a bit outdated, but very clean. Pet Friendly with a large area to potty the dogs.

Friendly staff and welcoming. A little pricey for a room that should have been updated 25 years ago. Two things, it was very clean and we did feel safe here even when we were on a busy street. The refrigerator had a terrible time keeping my beer cold. Would not likely stay again.
