In 1952 Norm Fidler operated a small trucking business out of Walkerton, Ontario. He transported Freight in and around the Walkerton area. Norm built up a reputation for providing excellent service and took pride in conducting business in a professional and timely manner. In 1961 Norm joined United Van Lines and his business specialized exclusively in moving household goods.
Norm built a small, well equipped warehouse and increased his fleet from one truck to three. Norm retired in 1986 and sold the business to John and Marg Becker. The company moved from Walkerton to a new 10,000 square foot warehouse in Hanover in 1994. In 2002 John and Marg's son Steve Johnston took over the business and has since added a mini storage facility.

I'm a senior and used Fidler to move from Hanover to Hamilton. I greatly appreciated the help and friendliness of the movers. They were efficient, quick, polite, and so helpful - the move went off without a hitch. This was a stressful time and they went above and beyond our expectations. In addition, there were no surprise charges and the cost was fair. Highly recommend Fidler, thank you so much for your help!

Wow, they are supposed to be here for the public but I think not. Went there, they were closed till 1.went all the way back at 1 and they still were not open

We just made a BIG move. From our first phone call to Steve about getting a quote, to Paul coming to give us a quote, to the actual move we received top service. Over the two days it took we cannot say enough good things about Wayne and Frank who did all the lugging of our furniture. Not once did we hear them complain and they were a lot of fun. It was truly a pleasure to have them working for us. Thank you Guys!

On August 17th, Fidler's Moving and Storage moved our mom, Betty Casemore from Parkhead to the Revera Retirement Apartments in Hanover. From the minute Cyndy called and talked them about their services, she knew I contacted the right company for the move. They answered every question we could throw at them about the process over a 3 week packing… and downsizing period.
