Each Central Drugs location is owned and operated by a pharmacist who has a unique specialty. Since 2000, I've been proud to be a part of the Central Drugs family where I've developed long standing personal relationships both with our staff and patients. My specialty is custom compounding, which is the art and science of preparing personalized medications for patients.
It is extremely important to protect yourself against disease when travelling outside of Canada. Thankfully, many diseases that are common in other countries are not common in Canada. For this reason, we recommend booking an appointment to discuss your healthcare and vaccination needs prior to travelling.
Prescription compounding involves the process of combining or altering a prescription to suit a patient's exact needs. Doctors will provide a customized prescription that is brought in to our experienced pharmacists. Our pharmacists then work their magic by combining the necessary ingredients to create a customized prescription for their patient.

After spending thousands on expensive medications for my daughter who had a heart problem, Central Drugs at Pacific Station refused to renew my prescription unless I paid in advance. They were upset that I came late to pick up a prescription after my daughter was hospitalized. I told them I would take my business elsewhere, and have since found out they had been charging me 25% more than the pharmacy I am using now. I will never buy anything from Central Drugs again.
