Bed bugs in the bed. I woke up in the morning and found a blood filled bed bug in my bed. Disgusting, I still have the creeps and feel itchy like they are still on me. Stayed there Dec 6-7, 2021. Won't be staying there again, nasty.

Inflated prices, for mediocre rooms. Although it may seem like this hotel boasts the best stay in town, the atrocious hospitality was evident from day one. The two brothers running the establishment are more concerned about profit than customer service; the slightest request becomes a great inconvenience to them and it is evident based on how they treat there long term tenant's. If your coming to Barriere for work and are looking for long term stay, save yourself the hassle and terrible attitudes of the Monte Carlo by literally going anywhere else in town.

Quite a nice spot. They did a very good job on their upgrades and all staff were very pleasant. Close to highway but didn't notice noise. Great room for the price. Stayed Sept/21.

My sister and I spent a couple of days at the Monte Carlo. It was great, comfy beds, nice shower, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Peter and Hugo are wonderful hosts.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Top notch customer service! Our room was very clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was heaven! I'm looking forward to our next stay!

After having a comfortable stay and enjoying the outdoor pool on a super hot and smoky day I had paid in cash and remembered I had neglected to get a receipt which I immediately forgot to do again. I had secured the room reservation with my Visa and a month later there it was on my Visa statement. I called the motel and spoke with the owner who looked through the records and found our stay and immediately agreed to credit the charge on my Visa without resistance. I haven't got a bad thing to say about our experience there and moreover I applaud the honesty and cooperative nature of the owner. A

We came on a long weekend. The pool heater was broken so my kids were freezing. They were really look forward for the pool. Room was clean but had funky musky odor. Fridge was cranked up to the max We didn't notice so all our fruit got frozen and pretty much ruined.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in July/21.
We had a wonderful time.
The motel is very clean, the staff and owners are the best.
They will help you with anything and see that you have everything you need in your room.
They also help with information about the entire area in and around Barriere.
The pool is wonderful with every convenience you need, lounges side tables, patio tables with umbrellas and chairs, and a hugh supply of clean folded soft towels.
There are 2 very nice propane bar b ques and more tables with umbrellas and chairs to relax on or enjoy your meal.

Everything we go to Barriere to see family we stay here. Which about 4 times a year for at least 3 to 4 days. It's so nice and clean and comfortable. Staff is great. And we are coming again soon and so excited that the pool is going to be open.
