At Unique we know that your dream home is built from the foundation up so we have assured that from step one you are supported. We provide a full 8 inch concrete footing with two rows of 10mm rebar in our foundations and finish off by spraying the entire foundation with a Rub-R-Wall membrane and additionally wrap it in Geo-Wrap drainage composite.
Concrete in Northern Alberta is a hard thing to maintain against the harsh weather and quick weather changes. There are many steps you can take to preserve the concrete (sealant, using driveway safe deicers, not overloading the weight capacity of the pad, etc.) However even after all these preventative measures, you can still have defects occur.
From the start, to the minute we got handed our keys all our expectations were met! Not to mention a month after we moved in they have checked in to see if there are any little details that can be looked at and taken care of. Kelly was always there day or night to answer the littlest questions and working with Jamie was incredible.

Our home was built by Unique in the fall of 2008 and we purchased it from the original owners In the fall of 2013. It has been an eye opener to the poor quality of residential construction in Grande Prairie. I wish I wasn't in a rush to purchase and would have had a more thorough look instead of trusting the word of my home inspector. This is the largest investment most make in their lives so be more diligent than I was. Bring a square, check plumb and walk every inch for squeaks. Trust your instincts if it doesn't look right it probably isn't.
