For almost 60 years Central Outboard Marine is a family run business stretching 4 generations! In the mid 1950's Murray Wilson ran a car service station at Bay and Yorkville in Toronto when he was approached by a man who asked him if he would be interested in renting boats off his property. Murray who was always looking for different avenues to increase sales said he would give it a try.
Central Outboard Marine has a team of professionals second to none to look after your boating needs. We offer any service you may require, from preventative maintenance, to upgrades, re-powers, winterization and major repairs. Situated in Southern Ontario, we know as much as you do that our summers are short enough without having a boat out of commission for weeks at a time.
Central Outboard specialize in custom installations of all electronics and accessories available for your boat. From fishfinders, trolling motors, or Talons for fishing boats to stereos, underwater lighting or ski pylons for your sport boat we offer quality service for all makes and models. We work hard to ensure that all of our installations look, sound and perform great.
Lithium Pros' batteries use lithium, which is lighter than lead-acid and packs more power. Our batteries deliver higher power during cranking, and hold a higher voltage during discharge than a comparably sized lead acid battery. That means a hotter ignition, faster starts, and more watts for your accessories.
In southern Ontario our summers are far too short to have your boat in the shop because of problems that could have been avoided with an entry level service. We offer complete pre-season services for all Mercury, Evinrude, Johnson, Yamaha, MerCruiser, and Cobra engines. We are an authorized service shop for all of these engines and can ensure your engine will run smooth all summer long!

Scott at Central Outboard was the only guy that knew what parts were needed to allow me to get setup with the right fish finder for the engine data and the right trolling motor that is compatible with both the engine and the fishfinder. We have had some bumps in the road due to manufacturer issues but the service has been great and his willingness to get to the bottom of things is what you need from your marina services.

Great place. They are very busy because they know how to repair and service Yamaha motors.
The owner is great. Very helpful and basically gets the job done. No games and they tell the truth. I know because I am an Engineer and have the service manual and all specs. For my boat and Yamaha motor.
I contact Yamaha and follow up with technical questions concerning service. These guys told the truth every time regarding what needs to be serviced, how it’s done and what is not required.
That is why I trust them. Just go there and see for yourself!!

I recently bought a Yamaha 9.9 for my sailboat from Central Outboard Marine and couldn't have had a better experience.
