A unique landmark, this Southern Colonial house reflects the origins of Charles Roland Daniel and his wife Maurine. Ordered from a lumberman's catalogue the structure was shipped to this location, beginning assembly in 1909. As the centerpiece to a large farming operation, the house stood out on the vast 2000 acre treeless prairie landscape.

Our venue rental includes full access to our various event spaces as well as set-up and take-down of all tables and chairs.
The Norland's on-site exclusive caterers, LA Chefs Catering & Events, offer only the best in food quality, presentation, and service. Our team of professionals are passionate about creating a flawlessly executed culinary experience that reflects your taste and vision for your event. We cater to a variety of different styles, from casual to formal, and work very hard to serve a menu that you and your guests will be raving about.
All tables and chairs (White Garden Chairs for outdoor ceremonies, Chivairi Chairs for the Ballroom). Full Catering Staff, including full set-up and take-down of food stations, clearing tables etc. The Norland is pleased to offer our personal recommendations for preferred vendors such as florists, DJs, photographers, videographers, and wedding cake specialists to assist with your planning.

Magical venue and amazing staff!
Me and my wife had our wedding during COVID and the Norland was very attentive, flexible and helpful when it came to planning. They responded to all our requests and exceeded expectations. The staff was one of the highlights of our event, they were all friendly and fun to be around!

The Norland was an absolutely beautiful place to get married. The day we got married there it was windy outside but the mature trees surrounding the property sheltered our ceremony and cocktail hour greatly. I would highly recommend the Norland as it's a one of a kind Venue in Southern Alberta.

The Norland went above and beyond to make our wedding day come to life. As if wedding planning isn't hectic enough, COVID made it seem impossible, but the people at the Norland (especially Marci and Trish) helped calm our nerves and give us a magical day! All of the serving staff and day of staff are so sweet and overall amazing. The Norland is a beautiful location and the people there are wonderful! We also highly recommend the beef wellington!

My daughter just got married at the Norland. What I can say is that it was much more than I expected -- it was a partnership! During the whole planning that lasted months (before and during the pandemic), the owner and the staff were amazing, making sure they followed the restrictions, but at the same time made accommodation for an unforgettable celebration. I told my family that if The Norland staff could do such an amazing job during a pandemic, they surely can handle any situation. They are professional, and caring at the same time. When my daughter chose this venue two years ago, I wasn't sure

Beautifully appointed rooms. Soft beds. QUIET. Did I mention QUIET? Wonderful hostess and host. Gracious friendly service. Memorable weekend. A little hard to find so check their website for their google map. Complimentary Wi-Fi (from which I am writing this review), TVs in every room. Tastefully decorated. Flowers and plants everywhere. A 1910 house that has been lovingly restored and refurbished and shows a lot of attention to care and detail. Huge bathroom with granite counter and tile, modern fixtures, jacuzzi tub. In summer weather there is a pool and hot tub as well as a modest gym facility
