Not too bad for stay, only problem they don't provide refrigerator and microwave for guests in room.

Only stayed as a last resort as hotels in area sold out. The rooms are old, dingy lighting and smelly with old carpet.

Good price, very friendly staff. There is no elevator, so you will need to carry any luggage up the narrow stairs, and the WiFi is very slow and unreliable. The rooms are clean and quiet but rather cramped. There is a Jungle Jim's accessible from the lobby and a bar area in the basement, which is convenient because the dining options in town are limited.

I've been in bad hotels but this one tops them all off, floors were dropped down on a angle, ceiling was squish, walls were very thin. Could here absolutely everything that went on. Bathroom is very small, low force on water in the shower. Yes I understand this is a really old hotel, but they could at least try to make it suitable for the customer, and to mention the staff never said one word to me on my stay.

It's a decent spot and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I needed something out of the ordinary and they provided a very suitable substitute.

Walked in the room turned around and walked back out.
Reminds me of a room in a horror movie were
Someone could be watching you through the eyes in the painting on the wall.
Or two people go to sleep and when you wake up one is missing.
Would not recommend at all.

Older place. No elevator! Room was small but in good shape. I guess due to the age of the building my room's floor was slanted but given my good experience overall that just gave it some charm. Better options for tv channels and tv guide than most higher-priced hotels. Decent bath. Clean. Bar-food restaurant attached made it easy to grab dinner and go to bed after a long day.

We are doing our one week trip within NL. This is our second day during our trip. We are driving from St. John's. I chose this one because of some others reviews and I thought I could give it a try. But, the check in was not pleasant, somebody messed up our reservation even though we called to book the room in the morning. The room was very small, plugins were not working when I tried to charge my phone and camera. Bed was just OK, but guess what, you could hear the snore next door all night! Surprise?! Especially after a whole day driving. I really people could read my honest review before making

Convenient location, not far from the airport. Fairly close to everything. Nice, clean rooms, although the smell of cigarette is imprinted in the walls and carpet of the non smoking rooms as well.
Old building , not yet adapted to people with disabilities though .

I stayed in the suite. The room is really nice, but the service is lacking. The staff were over 2 hours late getting our room ready for check in (we had to work so we ended up leaving our bags in our car). Hotel staff won't clean the room or restock supplies (like soap, shampoo, towels) unless you call and ask them. The hotel staff also screwed up our reservation and one coworker ended up not having a room. The room itself was beautiful. Laminate floors, full kitchen (with dishes, cutlery, pots, etc) and a dishwasher. Reclining leather couch and chair in the living room. Jacuzzi tub and stand up
