Our teachers are excited to work with your child and are always striving to provide the best possible care. Please let them know if you have any questions or concerns and they will be happy to discuss them with you. Hey, my name is Janet St. Pierre. I have been lucky enough to be the teacher here at the Playschool since 2017.
The Yellowknife Playschool is open Monday through Friday and provides a variety of class times to suit you and your child. A teacher trained in Early Childhood Education, or an educational equivalent, leads each class. The teacher works in collaboration with the Executive Director and other teacher to plan and implement the program.
The Playschool now has an account set up at the Bottle Depot, which allows money to go directly to support the Playschool. Drop off is easy: you just go to the computer on the side, punch in our account number and print off a bar code to stick onto the bag. The account number is posted on the wall beside the computer.
